Only reason returned watching GH is for Jarly. Jason and Carly have a strong passionate chemistry. Potential for great story lines. Carly and Jason are strong characters even stronger together.
I was worried at first when Carly came up with the story, but that look on her face when Sonny said he liked her version, just screamed, "yeah, cause your story is trash Sonny."
That is why I love these two. CARLY puts SONNY in check, just like JASON puts CARLY in check. (Only it is Funnier with JASON. His exasperated looks with CARLY’S antics are priceless.🙄😂)
Steve Burton has stated that he is not interested in a on screen romance, and would rather focus on the rebuilding of the Sonny and Jason business dynamic. He is not interested in a story line that has him in a romance with any female lead or secondary character. His character Jason Morgan and Carly Spencer are the greatest of friends, because of the history they share and the acceptance of the flaws and traits that make each shine as who they are.

I'm glad cause I feel the same. I think he knows he will not be on for long this time around. So why bother with a romantic s/l. Plus at this point, as much as I like Jarly as just friends when you think about the dynamic of their relationship...it would be really hard to pair them with anyone else and it be successful. Not many romantic partners can handle their partners having the friendship Jarly has. It worked with Sonny and Sam because they were secure in their relationships but not too many other people were able to deal. As much as I love Carly, i wouldn't be mad if when Steve finally retires this character, they write Carly off with him together. They can always write Sonny off to be with Brenda (since according to Maurice, Brenda is Sonny's true love). And the soap can focus on new people to be the anchors of the show. All things must come to an end at some point. I hope they give Sonny, ,Carly and Jason the same happy ending they gave Patrick and Robin when they were written off the show.

Jason leaving is devastating am happy SB came back and I respect his decision to not stay long after how badly they treated him but much as a happy ending would be great I for one couldn't continue to watch without all 3 of them and that'd be a damn shame

All you Brats insisting on JARLY. Don’t blame the writers this time. There was Nary A Hint of a rekindled romance between those two. (Same with JASAM and JLIZ. ) Their bond and renewed friendship was a breath of fresh air. (Especially for those of us who would rather see their friendship progress past the complications that re-injecting sex into the equation would have brought.) I am good with watching CARSON “dance” around their undeniable attraction to each other. It is time to bring a New love interest into JASON’S life. That is, if they cannot get Ms. THEIBOLDT to come back and play BRITT again. (Now, That was a waste of potential romantic fireworks right there.😢)
