JAPFEST 2024 Irish Drift Championship Round 1

We Kick off the 2024 Irish Drift Championship season at Japfest in Mondello Park. 3 of our drivers entered in competition, Alan in Pro 2, Dale in Pro 2 Rookie and Leon In Pro Class. Friday practice was good to figure out any issue with the cars after the off season. Pro 2 Competition on Saturday was tricky as morning practice and first qualifying runs were dry and the rain started to pour just as they began the second qualifying runs which was tricky to drive in. Alan unfortunately didn't qualify with double zeros. Dale qualified in 29th place with a 79.3 which put him into top 32 battle action against Adam Kelly who was awarded the win. We along with our good friends ‪@candykultureeire‬ done an on track photoshoot. Leons first practice run was Sunday morning after the off season. The car ran well and Leon Qualified and drew Lee McFadden, Lee was awarded the win, we now look forward to the next round in Watergrasshill.
