Omg you have no clue how motivated I was to skate after this!! Loved that you had a great time with people and OMG your scratch spin at 3:23 was so centered! I've been trying to do a forwards scratch spin and I'm sorta able to do it but I keep rocking back and wanting to fall backwards, do you have any tips for doing one and keeping it centered?

arms are really important. since your spinning everything wants to go out so u have to “gather it”. make sure your second arm position is really strong. also when you are going into the spin lean into it. sorry this is hard to type it all out so just ask if it doesn’t make sense but i hope this helps! 😊

Hey Rachel, i love your videos! I also wanted to know if you have some tips for going back on the ice because I moved about two months ago and still haven’t gotten to head out to the ice rink but I’m hoping sometime soon. Im just a little worried that my body wont remember half of the moves i know and maybe you know i few things that will allow me to get used to the ice again?
take it slow and make sure to take it easy! try not to get frustrated that you're not at the level that you were at before. that's something i always think about when I get on the ice again after a break
