Man, I knew as soon as Raiden revealed his ability early, he was gonna be in trouble. Even still, he & Shiva had a hell of a fight. Had a harem of one before the fight, had a lovely valkyrie to partner with to the very end & got to fight with all his muscle power like he always wanted. He lived & died as a goat 👏
I just realized Raiden’s Valkrie was Thor’s daughter in Norse mythology

Incredible how much they boosted the animation, in certain moments is superior than the manga. In the manga Shiva doesn't looked so powerful in comparison with the anime version

This fight is underrated even in the manga when it's definitely the most brutal one. Raiden could have won in the end though, he lost one arm but he had another he could do the palm thrust with one more time. Then again, Shiva's intense flames would have burned him alive it's a miracle he kept up while he could.

@@Notbaki Aye, but the injuries suffered in this fight were more critical than Hades. Shiva lost three arms, Raiden was set on fire and could have died right away and in the end, his right arm was sliced.
This was such a good fight.
Simple clash of martial arts but brutal.
The fight was not bad at all, the truth was brutal and I liked that some panels of the manga were improved, for example, the final clash between raiden and shiva in the manga is only shown when shiva buries his foot in raiden's hand, it is never shown as it really was the clash in addition to raiden's sersenada head even showed better raiden's meat hide better 😨
the problem is that the director chose to respect the author's traits in the manga and make each frame so detailed to match the manga, and this for any studio up to mappa and ufotable, adopting an option like that required making the fluidity much more difficult. side
Raiden was meant to use yatagarasu technique again, and it’s still clash between yatagarasu and shiva’s foot in both manga and anime
the battles in record of ragnarok always goes like the humans almost win and then the gods make a comeback

A Hindu here - it's pretty easy which Gods they'll let win and which will die.
Shiva was never going to be killed off - because Hinduism is a still living faith and doing so would risk offending billions of Hindus (I mean, lore-accurate Shiva is literally one of the Three Supreme Gods that rule over the entire Multiverse).
