One strategy that PLA may be contemplating against India in the East is to use the Manipur insurgency and radical Islamic groups in Bangladesh to create instability in Indian borders threatening the Siliguri corridor.

PLA had been winning all war and clash with india except the 1967 , 1985 and the recent clashes at Arunachal Pradesh.
First big win for PLA is in 1961 when it captured Aksai chin
2nd win for PLA is in 2020 when it occupied another 2000 sq km area in ladakh 🤦🏼

It is fundamentally clear that the quality of the PLA soldier is questionably. Russian forces in Ukraine have developed an integrated intelligence, theatre awareness, and geographical targeting using space technology. Our Indian forces should be trained adequately to perform accordingly. Our edge is the quality of soldier but needs exceptional training and latest equipment. Our defense budget needs to be around 4% of GDP going forward.
Fundamentally the only test that India troop had was against Pakistan, Chinese PLA had a history of fighting in Korea and they faced the US led UN army and through out the Korean war they faced half a million US force. Against the India force they won on tactic in 1962 and thrash the Indian force. India can buy the weapons but will never be the latest in tech. India as a country is so much backward in term of tech. Explain to me which area of technology that India is actually a world leader. As for India's defense budget needs to be 4% and it is currently around 80 billion out of a 4 trillion economy which is around 19% of India's budget revenue and increase it to 4% means the country will effectively spending nearly 40% of its budget revenue on defense. Defense science and technology, India can't make a an jet engine, how good is the India made Arjun? Absolutely shit and it costs more than an American tank, heavy slow and 40 years of design, research and finally put it out to your army, 75% of them became non operable in 2 years. Let me break it for you if your country never control the core technology of your weapons or in industries then you will never be ahead of the game. India needs to spread more money into general science and tech research rather than putting almost 4 times or as you suggested 8 times of its money on just the military technology. When the US beat the Russia in the cold war it was not because of its military strength but overall national strength in wealth, all aspect of science of technology and global influence. The overall military strength for a nation is a reflection of its national economic strength, global influence, industrial might and technological advancement.

Sir why in Wikipedia it says that in 2020 Galwan Clash China has captured 2000 sq kms of Indian territory in Eastern Ladakh? People believe in Wikipedia information. Therefore if you say it is not correct then please try to get that info corrected. If it is true then PLA had won in 2020. Their objective was to capture land and they fulfilled that objective. Doesn't matter in the bargain even if they lost 100 men vs India losing only 20. You may say Wikipedia is not authentic info. But you can't cherry pick the info you like and the info that you don't like. Also fact is people believe Wiki info. Please comment on this.
