aside from the normal stuff (fungus/condensation/corrosion) not really? Make sure the lights in the viewfinder are working correctly and the camera is firing when it should be, try your best to check shutter speeds and all that fun stuff too
two possible options I can think of here, first; the solder connecting the PC port on the lens has deteriorated or broken off, either due to age or the PC port being turned accidentally. Second, the PC cable is faulty and not making contact somewhere? if the flash works on other cameras via the PC sync then its the port, if another cable triggers a flash with the lens then its the cable
It definitely can be a problem if you were looking to shoot wide open, it doesn't help that my preferred film is 400ISO, if it's sunny I could be shooting at 1/400th at f16 or f22. I use a 2 stop ND filter from time to time if I want a something a little shallower and on 6x7 f8 or f11 does a good job at separating a subject while maintaining sharpness. I've made a video in the past talking about why I use the ND filter too
@14:20 The proiid does not differ from the proii the way you say. All three models can work on a digital back with the correct adapter. The difference is the D model was designed for the mamiya digital back (phase one was years later). You can even use digital on the rb.
I've heard camera shops are hard to come by in SA, it might be worth going on eBay and seeing if it's possible to get one imported from Japan? Otherwise I would definitely recommend trying to find a camera shop in SA that can help you out
Thanks! Do you have any recommendations / must check before buying an RZ67?

nice one - this was really helpful
glad you found it useful👍🏼
Thank you very much for this video.
you are very welcome✌🏼
great video, very informative. my 110 lens pc port doesn't seem to trigger the flash...any suggestions ?

Do you think it's a problem to take photos outdoors in the sun, since the maximum shutter speed is 1/400? Do you often use filters because of this?

thank you for the clarification, i've favourited your comment so it should show up at the top of the comments section for people to see👍🏼
Just to super duper verify, Pro II lenses work on the Pro v 1?
yes, Pro II lenses work perfectly on the Pro body, only difference is that the Pro II lenses have half stops marked on the aperture ring
@@MaxLamdin Thank you!!
Where can I buy one of these in South Africa? 🇿🇦

or see if you can get in touch with @willysheepskin to see if he knows where could hook you up?
How would you compare to the RB67? I think the RB67 should out-live any RZ67 since it is all mechanical.
that's true the RB will outlive any RZ but you sacrifice a lot of features for that, i've done a video in the past comparing the two
@@MaxLamdin Cool. I will watch that video.
