I feel like this channel was made for me. I always put on a lengthy video of something interesting or amusing when I go to bed. NOT because I find it boring (if something boring is on, I will stay up and look for something more interesting). To the contrary, I like going to sleep with something I find comforting, which is interesting or humorous conversations. Science or nature documentaries 1990s-2000s Howard Stern, or now this channel
Well said. I have a strange obsession with documentaries about cosmology and astrophysics, even though it doesn't really teaches me anything new, having actually studied astrophysics. I just find it calming and soothing. Sometimes I listen to Terry Pratchett, too. 🤪
I'm the exact same - i find that at least if I don't fall asleep, I get to learn something, but I just find that it makes it so much easier to sleep if I have a video essay on

I do too. I guess I find it good to meditate on. Keeps my brain from worrying about stuff in the middle of the night. 3am is not usually a good time to handle life problems 😅
If a singularity is at the end of a black hole. And our universe started from a singularity. Plus, we never seen a singularity anywhere in our universe. Then how are we not a universe existing in a black hole?
Hello, this is a very insightful video. However, I'm wondering if you are the original creator of this video or if you got it from somewhere else. If so, can you please share the link to the original material besides the information of the lecturer? Thank you for your honesty and respect.
Actually the heat is created from radioactive decay, which heats up the rock. It’s kind of like a giant version of a nuclear melt down. Good hypothesis, though…
is this AI generated?? At least the voice sounds processed. it's weird though because it has some very human speaking habits. It's just the way the voice sounds feels very off to me

Helps me sleep knowing there's cosmic horrors out there right now.

To dream.
i love this channel as an idea because every night i listen to educational content before bed typical about nuclear reactors and such
Same! More astronomy vs nuclear, but that sounds like an interesting alternative 😁

Learning by Osmosis. Or something. Would be awesome.

This content is too interesting for me to fall asleep😢. I need a sequel and prequel.

Love the lectures, just not the ads that play twice as loud after drifting off to sleep. Ouch…
I wish TH-cam had a sleep timer.

To fall asleep you have to control the playback speed to 75% or 50%
Feel you ;)
I can't fall asleep to this. "Uh", for me, is like being stabbed in the ears.

Really enjoyed this video but the audio does get kinda jacked up at 141 and further. Might need to re-upload it.

These are terrible lectures for sleep, one cannot take the attention from all the detailed subjects explained! ^^
I low key watch these vids to go to sleep 💀
I love the content but the ads are too loud.
I frankly do not survive more than 5 minutes.😅
am i right when I think, the inside of Mother Earth is hot because of the pressure inside which is there, due to gravity?
