Fc150 restomod

This 1960 Jeep FC 150 started Life as a unit for hauling cargo was put into a junkyard in 1978 when Engine seized up and spun bottom bearings. Was purchased in 2012 by someone in South Carolina and shipped here. next the vehicle sat for six years until I came along and traded for it. we thought that the title was long gone however upon pulling the vehicle apart I found the title in the ashtray. Thank God for South Carolina's lacks laws on retitling vehicles even though it was 90% destroyed you could still make out the VIN number and the DMV was able to retitle it for me.

Just cut frame ahead of rear spring hangers and insert about 12" of new chassis.

Not a bad idea but that would make it the fc170, I like the maneuverability of the short wheelbase

The v6 wasnt even at jeep when the FCs were made.it was at Buick first.

What would you value this at the way you got it? Looking at one locally and I’m trying to get some reference.

That is an interesting question I have seen restoration similar to mine sell for about 10000 but the body condition seems less rusty. Mine is a pretty rusty example .

@@Topofthemoningtoyou I meant before you did any work to it. Found one today and gave it a look over. It’s pretty rough. No one was around, so I’m not even sure what they want for it. Yours seemed comparable when you first got it
