Actually Thailand is very known for BL's and they released quiet a few during the years, there is no censorship as there is for Chinese bls and they get quiet steamy most of the times! I recommend you to watch o of them as there are many iconic ones! :)

I ADORE this series so much. It makes me feel both single and as though true love exists. It's so precious. I would highly recommend watching it, even if it's just on your own time. You can find it here on TH-cam. I'm pretty sure there will be a second season too, so that's exciting. Thank you for reacting to this! I don't know if these two are actually dating, or if it is just the normal couple fanservice (BL/QL couples are often paired by their companies and then shipped by everyone with lots of fanservice), but there is no denying their chemistry. I hope their pairing lasts a long time.
I haven't seen it in the comments yet, so: Yes. The Thai shows are on a whole other level. Lots of pride-stuff going down in those series. Also, lately, I've noticed a trend where they are showing more interest in advocating equality (for sexuality, gender identity, marriage, social status, etc.). I'm not sure how homosexuality is looked at by the country as a whole, but the BL series are top tier. Although, do beware that there are some pretty horrible tropes. If you are triggered by anything, read warnings and reviews. (Side note: Most of these stories are BLs. It appears very hard to find GLs. Although, there is about to be one released. I'm super excited!

And Phi-nong, is a Thai word means Siblings, while tee-ruk means Darling or honey.
And from what you said the video; yes, unlike in China, there is no restriction in Thailand about showing off your love or being touchy (only in some places where you should be well behaved. Thing was Thai people is kind of shy to show off much.), or coming out being lgbtq+, or else. Zee and Nunew also used to say that they never mind if their lover will be guys or girls and they feel so attached to each other till they never mind to be touchy to each other (even though Zee had never been a touchy person before and even now he doesn’t being touchy to other people beside Nunew). And they used to say in the interview that they noticed that their relationship is kind of more than brotherhood nor friends but if you asked what kind of relationship they are being right now they would answered that they are still brothers to support each other both in works and in private life. Because they still have a lot to learn from each other.

Joseph, run!! LOL, ZeeNuNew is the ship that has me by the throat, I don't usually pay this much attention to ships, (closest 2nd would be WooSan) but this one is too cute! NuNew is so adorable and Zee dotes on him 24/7, absolutely adorable. Their friends are sick of how lovey-dovey they are all the time and the manager of their company and Director (P'aof) is constantly reminding them that they are Phi-Nong (like "Bros" Phi= older person, Nong= younger person). This is an adorable ship and Cutie Pie is an amazing Series, NuNew is a great singer as well, he has the voice of an angel. 🥺🥺

So I voraciously watch BL’s. Thailand produces the most. In my personal opinion “shipping” is mostly fan service. When an onscreen pair has a new show coming out or airing you will see a lot of videos of the pair being very lovey dovey. OffGun might be the kings of having fans play the are they or aren’t they guessing game. It’s all part of the business. A small number of Thai BL actors are openly gay. It’s all about the chemistry the actors have on and off screen. It keeps the fans wanting more and keeps the actors relevant.
