  • Ryan Day needs to learn from the best such as Tressell and Meyer and let his teams playing do the talking. In the past, he has talked smack or what his team was going to do. Not only did it put a target on his teams back, but it backfired. Time to put up or shut up. #buckeyes #ohiostate #ohiostatebuckeyes #ohiostatefootball #ohiostatenews #ohiostatebuckeyesfootball #bigtenfootball #michiganfootball #michiganwolverines #gobucks #buckeyenation #buckeyesfootball #goblue #collegefootball #collegefootballnews #notredame #notredamefootball #notredamefightingirish #fightingirish

Finally a osu fan that sees it. Much respect… hopefully day keeps talking shit to Michigan. It fuels us.

Ya'll dogged Harbaugh for believing in his team. Now you have Day, going above and beyond that. idk, just seems odd but I agree that hs should stop talking to media. He recruits QB and WR, doesnt mold the rest like Michigan. Other coaches in that program need help too.

Sometimes I wonder if Ryan Day feels a bit in over his head following Meyer and Tressel. He sometimes gives "little brother" vibes but he really shouldn't cause he really is a good coach. Just needs to make some adjustments to beat Michigan now.

He seems to let comments get to him and under his skin. He has to grow past that and stop trying to prove a point.

He's also significantly younger than urban and tress. Give it time homie.

@@BuckeyesBattleCry Tress most famous speech was giving Michigan literal bulletin board material. Ryan day did the same thing and it just happened to be the season covid happened. I think this is just rose tinted hindsight sunnies you got on. If luck goes our way in any of the last few seasons, Ryan day is who you want him to be. Let him get the guys ready how he sees fit.

Not the point. Shouldn’t have said anything at all.
      Sounds like an insecure coach.

He is honestly my real problem with Ohio state. Preseason champs 5 years in a row, and still can’t beat Georgia with a 17 point lead

The "tougher teams" youre talking about also played significantly inferior scum teams than ryan day teams. Its also May lol. The "good coaches" do talk in may bc its the offseason. Do you just want Day to hide in a hole until September? Come on guy.

Never said anything about not wanting Ryan Day to be the head coach.
Stop talking to the media and just go out there and win.

This dude looked at himself and his program on the mirror. Most coaches in his situation who are so close put their head down and say I’m gonna keep chopping wood. He changed everything got rid of Flemming, Cory Dennis, Eliano, brought in Matt Guerreri, Carlos Locklyn and promoted JAMES Laurinaitis. Most importantly hired Chip Kelly, and gave up play because he knew that he needed to be more attentive Late in games. He pounded the pavement to assist the NiL in getting up to where it currently is. Personal phone calls to our biggest donors in the nation. Operated a flawless transfer portal class. Those players you are talking about that came back-They don’t come back unless they believe in him and the program he is running. He ran Circles around LSU Texas and Georgia in the attempt to fill the power vacuum left by Nick Saban. No school benefited more from Saban’s retirement than the Ohio State buckeyes. Then he planted the block O flag in the state of Alabama and landed a five star from ALABAMA. something that’s never happened in the history of our program..has 2 more considering Ohio state in Ziggy Grady and Malik autry. He managed to keep Brian Hartline happy and by his side long after he should’ve been gone. He currently has the number one recruiting class in the country. He has parents in that recruiting class traveling to Columbus to meet other parents to help him recruit because they believe so much in his program. He has NFL players like Paris and CJ Stroud coming back to Columbus to help him recruit because they believe in his program. Equally impressive the culture of his program is second to none. Don’t hear about one single guy getting In any of the field trouble. And instead of talking about all this positive momentum. All the good things we’ve seen in the last few months and the best roster we’ve had in a decade You want to come on here and bring up some old bullshit from five years ago? Some goofy vision he relayed in an interview and a tough guy comment he made 10 seconds after an emotional win? Get a grip dude. This is absurd. You enjoying the pat on the back from your rival for being “the Buckeye that gets it”. Disappointing.
