Working with you over the past few weeks has been a pleasure. Your knowledge of ponds and ecosystems is incredible and I learned a ton. Thank you for building this incredible water feature! 👊🏻
might sound crazy but watching these guys through all of Covid even after it did wonders. I lost my job and not long after lost the apartment. Then went through almost an exact replay of 2021 this year after losing again another place and not being able to land and secure a job in time to hold things down but watching these guys through it all and still seeing them doin what they love to do just made me wanna get back in business. The amount of verbal abuse from supposed to be family members wasn't easy but somehow made it through all of that thanks to this. it just taught me as long as you have the drive to wanna work you can achieve anything. and seeing that during that time of turmoil was all I had keeping me together psychologically. Cause so many times I could've gave up and didn't regardless of how things were going and how much I was being badmouthed for "poor choices" according to them when all I ever reallly tried to do was hang on. it's thanks to this negativity never got the better of me and continued to look for better ways. huge thanks to team Aqua scape and BamaBass for doing what they do best and creating these masterpieces hopin one day I might make it down to actually see it in person! ✌🏽😉 Keep up the good work. 😎
Great work Ed; you and your teams! I discovered BamaBass after your installation of his first pond and have been following him ever since. This has been a very enjoyable process watching this series take place on his and your channel. Another amazing water feature executed!
Love your ideas and explanation! You take very complicated knowledge and explain it in a very simple way! That is true intelligence! What I was wondering, if you could use your ideas in a wetland filter to be used in a "underground climate battery" in a greenhouse? I see many people dig a deep hole in their bottom of their greenhouse in order to use the natural earths temperature. They then lay air tubes in the bottom and fill the whole with tons of rock where the air blows over them and they keep and retain the heat to be released in the greenhouse in the cold evenings. I know that water is a better conductor than air, it seems like your wetland filter would be a better climate battery?
Thank you!!!! 🙏 & Absolutely!!! I use Wetlands to control water temps in outdoor ponds to inhibit ice formation in winter and to keep the water cooler in the summer. I haven’t done that in a greenhouse but it should work the same!
I've got a question. I've got a very simple small pond that I've made this summer. It has been beautiful while it has been warm but, all of a sudden, with less sunlight and heat, it's starting to grow algae big time. What can I do to kill the algae and keep the pond and fish healthy? Thanks, Jim
That’s great! Certain species of algae thrive in cold water, it’s usually not a problem and will not harm the fish. In fact, algal growth will act as a filter for the pond, it grows on dissolved nutrients in the water generated by the fish and it will produce oxygen as a byproduct!
You and your team really build an amazing pond, Ed. I was wondering since you build that beautiful overflow, is it possible to put a pump in the 5 acre pond and use the overflow as a waterfall? Or would that deteriorate the water quality of the recreation pond?
Both Ponds have separate uses. We don’t want to use the water from the 5 acre pond because it has been dosed with fertilizer to grow algae for the fish. If we added that to the new pond it would throw the ecosystem out of balance. We want them to be separate ecosystems
I get it. Beautiful designed overflow and I love the little river up to the waterfall and that the cascades are like a river. Certainly one of your best builds.
Im into Aquaponics and using fish to grow produce. Have you ever designed an aquascape pond to double as a giant aquaponic system/farm? Is it even possible?
I would have liked to see water circulate from the far end of the bass pond around into the little pond and back out into the bass pond by a waterfall so its all one system.
@@EdThePondProfessor and tell him to screw some branches on the platform for the eagles to nest on, give them a helping hand on their nest build,,,,,,, but no disco lights 😂
What is your favorite part of the Rec pond? Also, let me know your ideas on what I should build for @Bamabass next time.

Anytime! Can’t wait for the next one!
great collab!

What did mommy time do the whole time? Sit there and play with babies weeee… keep working hard so MOMMYS taken care of
Wow Ed this is now my favorite project. Way to go Bama Bass
3 Countries. USA, Canada and UK.
The pond looks great. I love all the explanations of why you did what you did on the pond. Very informational.
Hes counting the Canadians and the UK... we already know Americans are in America doing work lol
That is one good looking pond best I have seen. Ed you are amazing great job
Thank you! Cheers!

What a special project. Everyone’s contributions on this feature could last for generations! Well done!
Thank you!!!
We couldn’t have done it without the help of the Certified Aquascape Contractors!
I can't wait to see this pond in a year from now that's gonna be sick.awsome
Me too!!!
Our kids are gunna used it for the next 20-30 years….. love it 🥰
Thank you for taking the time to explain everything so clearly. I can't wait to build ours!
Glad it was helpful!

Unbelievable... Wish that I could afford that. Just beautiful!
All I can say is. Simply beautiful.
Good to see you cover the pond build on your channel. We’ve been following @bamabass for a while now.
Awesome! Thank you!
This is as good as it gets. Well done. Adventurous idea, professional execution, admirable in every detail.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow!!!! Love the logs and how natural it seems
Thanks!!!
That’s my favorite part too!
"Crimpson layer pond." This is really a dream pond. Enjoy bill build with everybody all over the US.
Awesome! Love it
Great Design. Loved how everyone came together to make a perfect build! Sounds great!
Glad you like it!!!

Thank you so much 👍
Fantastic!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I love it when two channels I follow get together! This was amazing work! Cannot wait to see how this pond changes over the next few years
Truly amazingly beautiful 💙💙💗👍
Another amazing build.
Few artists using Nature as their medium can improve on it's Perfection
Agreed…..
Beautiful😍
🎉 amazing work
Great video
Well done.
Thanks!!!
So awesome 👏
Thank you!!!
I have never seen bama bass's face so when i heard his voice i thought it was a voiceover like he do on his videos 😅
That’s great!!!

Oo the collaboration I never knew I needed ❤

30 seconds in and I think this the most i have seen BamaBass outside of his hands lol

I’ve dabbled in it but I need to do more!
Would the bass pond benefit from an appropriate sized wetland filter?
It could be a great addition!!!
I would have liked to see water circulate from the far end of the bass pond around into the little pond and back out into the bass pond by a waterfall so its all one system.
That would be cool, but we wanted them to be 2 separate systems. The small one for his pets and the big one for fishing
Bama bass are you going to put any fish or invertbrates in the rec pond
This pond will be for his pet fish
@@EdThePondProfessor which pet fish i thought they all got put in the 5 acre pond
😎😎😎
nice
I like turtles!! 😂
men always look like more fun
I've never seen The BamaBass guy's face before.
Acorn falls
Love it!!!
why no trees?
We planted several large Bald Cypress on the back of the Wetland filter,
They’re setback probably 50’-75’ from the wetland
Make sure he doesn't put any silly lights in it
Too late.😂 he wants to be able to see the fish at night. We’ve added a bunch of underwater lights
