Simon’s art has meant so much to me since I first saw one of his pieces randomly when I was a kid. He has such a unique take on science fiction stories. His art makes me feel very difficult to describe emotions. Sonder? Nostalgia? I don’t even know man.

Simons books are as close to a movie in paintef form as it gets. Pop on some ominous ambient soundtrack (cyro chamber or the like) and it reads like a film. I find it important to give every book two read throughs at least, and to look at the art very closely, not just woosh over it fast.

Is there a difference between the edition from Simon & Schsuter Ltd. and Image Comics?

so is it set in the same world as Tales From The Loop, Things From the Flood, and Electric State?

Yes, all connected. They tell the History of the Loop and its impact on the land and people from the perspective of a child growing up and coming of age in that setting
