- Hello everyone. Today I am sharing the long awaited trifold folio tutorial. Thanks for your patience! Enjoy!
Here are the measurements in inches for this project
Chipboard 3 pieces 6x9
chipboard spine 1x9
cardstock to wrap the chipboard 2 sheets 11x12
cardstock hinge 2 pieces 4x8-1/2
cardstock for pages 2 pieces 8-3/4x12
cardstock for pockets on the pages 2 pieces 4x6-3/4
BRILLIANT !!! I have been watching every tutorial because at my age (70+) I decided to start scrapbooking. Your tutorials are easy to learn and you are a terrific teacher. Only wish I could attend one, or more of your workshops where you teach. Thank you so much for sharing your talent :)

I've been making Folios for over a year and I wish I had found you first. You have some really great ideas and I can't wait to make this project for my sister. I just wanted to say thank you. I thought I was terrible at scrapbooking but then I watched your tutorials and I realized my mistakes were due to wrong inches > centimeters conversions made by other "scrappers" on YT (the wrong measures resulted in me having to waste a lot of paper) and bad tutorials. On the contrary, your tutorials are easy to follow, you're a great teachers and I have just made an album like this one which is simply perfect. I am so satisfied!! I love your tutorials. I've watched you for several years. I have seen several channels on u-tube but I you are one of my favorite. You do use some things that is seen on other channels but you also have your own ideas that are only seen on your channel. For example, the 3 pockets you put on the cover. I would have probably sealed up the bottom of each pocket. When I seen what you did I loved it! This is just a small example, I have seen so many on your other tutorials. You are great at explaining what you're doing and you tell why. I love mini albums! I have made several that was inspired by your tutorials. I also like Kathy Orta but I can't afford to purchase the tutorials like others and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you sharing so many of your ideas and albums. I really love your videos. Keep those tutorials coming. Thank You!!!

I just began this tutorial tonight for a Xmas present for my Mother and just the book construction...the folio itself...is BEYOND all expectation. I used the Hobby Lobby brand kraft cardstock...both 8.5x11 and 12x12...and wow is that strong paper! It wrapped around all my chipboard so nicely! Thank You so very much for a wonderful tutorial! I can't wait to continue it tomorrow!

I really enjoy watching how you made your tri fold. I have done album and this could be good to make the folio and then give it to my create friend and they can finish it off as they like. Just get the basics done for them. I also learn some things to help me with my card making too.

Love your trifold, Ginger. One thing I usualy do differenton my trifolds: I make the left hinge 1/4 " wider so that it gives more space for embellishments or interactions on the inside of front cover and outside of back (right) cover. Dominique

BTW, Ginger, I recently saw Michael's is making 12 x 12 kraft cardstock in packs again. It says 65 lbs but it is a bit heavier like what you see on open stock. Very nice paper
