I've been collecting since '02, so I've seen every phase ( _good, bad, & ugly_ ) of the sneaker game. If anything, it's just going back to how I remember it when I started collecting. If people want to call sneaker culture "dead" because the hype is not what it was a few years ago, then in that context I agree. But, if you're a true collector, then hype isn't much of a factor. You simply buy what you like. and right now is the best time to be THAT kind of collector.

I agree! as you saw. I hate the whole HYPE aspect of sneakers. but you have that in numerous different areas like cars and bourbon just to name a few.
