I began being debt free over 10 years ago. I followed the same type of format. The freedom is incredible, we were so surprised how much money we were actually making! Living debt free feels so good!!!! I teach my kids to do this to and so proud of them. $

jael munoz Good for you! Learn all you can about credit cards and companies before you get out in the world. I was 18 in college when I got my first credit card and honestly didn't have a clue. It's been a lot of years and mistakes of learning. I wish I had been clued in before I made it on my own.

I am in college right now and debt terrifies me. My first year I had to live on campus, so I have quite a bit of debt from that. I am now a sophomore in college and work part time to pay for my apartment. This last year I’ve been working on keeping myself from getting in several thousands more of debt and paying off or saving whenever I can. I am a big time saver, so I try to be cautious about every little thing I do lol
