  • I worried about Olímpio, because I didn´t see him, but he was actually behind Gandhi , as visible in the beginning of the video.
DISCLAIMER: In some videos I refer to the land as "my land", but I do not actually own it, I just have the use of it for the horses. I rent the house (with the stables and a garage where I keep the hay) that is on it.
Honey was brought 23 of september in the late afternoon, so her first day out with the others was on the 24th.
As I notice my narration in English is appreciated, I will try to keep to English as much as possible, but sometimes I fall back to Dutch, especially when things weren´t quite planned. I will think about subtitles.
My horses are, from small to big:
Honey, mare, brown, 12, the newcomer, the owner can´t take care of her anymore due to ill health.
Gandhi, gelding, dun, 13, I bought him as an 8 years old foal. He was starved since he was taken from his (Spanish) mom at 3 months old an mentally underdeveloped.
Pócótó, (kataklop in Dutch, clipclop in English), mare, grey, 18. I bought her as a ridinghorse, but she has a bad back, possible kissing spines, so I don´t ride her.
Olímpio, gelding, chestnut, 29, French trotter. Bought him cheap from a friend. He was mentally dead and it took some time before he got the spark back in his eyes. There has clearly been plenty of abuse in his past.
Vincent, gelding, grey, 20, Lusitano (well officially a cruzado as he has no papers). I was asked by a FB friend to take him as he had special needs. He was very skinny when he arrived. I wrote a book about him : Vincent, paard met praatjes. I am translating it in english now.
