The dress she chose really complimented her style and also gave a “bride feel”. I don’t normally like their choices on this show but, the dress she choice really suited her.
Gorgeous dress... I think that hint of historical really suited her. And I just want to say... I didn't feel her requirements were that insane. She wanted untraditional; there should be ROOM for that at such a large bridal boutique. The "she may be leaving without a frock" comment was just unnecessary and unprofessional.
The dress with green was the most beautiful dress I've ever seen on any of the SYTD shows. It was also perfect for this bride and I think it was her favorite. Just that her entourage wasn't supportive.
If I had a dollar for every time a bride on this show said they wanted to be "unique" and they "weren't a typical bride" and then ended up with a generic dress then I could take a very nice holiday.
I suspect she means she doesn't want to look "bad pale" (i.e., sickly), or she's worried that white would wash her out, because she normally wears darker colors and probably likes that contrast. (I may be projecting, though, since I'm also very pale.)

A bolero jacket would be easier to make. It can be made with lace, sleeves, high neckline, and either buttons on the front or back. It can be worn over a sweetheart neckline and mimic a Victorian style dress.
This lady is a sheeth dress in satin if I ever saw one.... low v neck satin off white Maybe sleeves or one of those trains that start at the shoulders like a cape. Orrrrr sheeth dress and vintage lace alllllll over.

Lipstick is different than clothing.
She wants to look pale. Its the emo Wiccan or dark soul.
Not everyone wants a tan. Paleness was and still a symbol that you don't have to work outside hard manual labor.
