Jain dharm says that atma (soul) has infinite knowledge (anant gyan), infinite vision(anant darsan) infinite power(anant sakti) and deserves ultimate peace., But, due to the bond of karmas the actual qualities of atma are hidden and therefore we are in the continuous cycle of birth and deaths,through ahinsha, Satya, achourya, bhrahmacharya, and aparigraha( minimalism), we can break the cycle and got salvation. So many takes diksha and lives a like of jain monk, while others being in the society follow jain way of life as much they could do.

Pehli toh baat agar hamara rebirth hota hoga toh hume hamare previous birth ka yaad toh hai nhi, toh jab hume ye confirm nhi ki hum hamare previous birth ki memory rakh payenge ya nhi toh birth cycle ko rok ke kya kar lenge. Aur aisa toh hai nhi ki ye life me agar aap monk ban gaye toh rebirth cycle ruk jayegi..aisa kahi mention nhi hai ki Jainism me ki agar is life me monk ban gaye toh rebirth cycle ruk jayegi ho sakta hai ek hame moksh na mile aur birth mile aur shayad firse monk banna pade kyuki ye sab moksh pe depend hai.
This life's SANSKAAR will go with Soul in another Life. At know no one from here attain Liberation, however this life conduct will definitely help and follows next Life.
@@kuldipchoraria I think we should do good deeds in this life by considering humanity first and should not care about previous life or next life bcoz it puts pressure on us to do good deeds and pressure put alot of toll on health.

happy life for all your children, grandchildren etc is not possible consistently for all generations: eventually competition catches up with your genetic advantages and the struggle for survival re-starts for your lineage.. this is True under capitalism. In Hindu philosophy, we are reborn as someone elses child so either we get lucky/good karma or we have to struggle in life/bad karma. What she's trying to do is avoid this rebirth/struggle by staying with God - she's basically married to God in this life, hoping that when she dies her soul will get to stay in heaven.
