Some really bad ass stuff could be done in the Castlevania type vein.
IF only Amazon had half the talent of the team that put these games together. Still in my top 5 of all time. Incredible.
It's a bit repetitive. Rings of Power wasn't. I loved that series. If instead of lots of clips hobbled together, they could make a proper movie out of this, then it would be good.

Mediocre FX, bad plots, NOT a lotr show but a tribute to his writings, horrible characters, when you hate everyone in the show what does that mean about the show? If you say you like them well, you are in the minority, the statistics show.

Why was the guy shot by the orc after calling him master?
During gameplay you can mindjack orcs for info then use that info to learn of their ties with higher ranking orcs and of their weakness until you reach their warchief who you could either kill or recruit. But some orcs will betray you.
The Rings of power writers should learn from this.

I'm cool with fan fiction but I wish it could have been more aligned with Tolkien's principles and foundations he laid in his writings. Tolkien would never ever want his fans playing as a Ranger who fights alongside evil against evil. The player should be on the side of GOOD PERIOD! There are very few morally gray characters and stories in the Entire Legendarium. Thees games at the end of the day are fighting for power among evil and wicked characters for something Tolkien CLEARLY FROWNED UPON, which is being motivated and driven by revenge and wrath. Revenge and wrath ONLY LEAD FURTHER AWAY FROM GOOD AND CLOSER AND CLOSER TO BECOMING FULL BLOWN EVIL. The principles, values and morals of Tolkien's work is 100% aligned with Judeo-Christian principles. Don't fight evil by becoming evil yourself. Don't be led by the wrong ideals, NEVER would Tolkien approve of the idea that to attain a greater good, one sometimes must do evil to accomplish it. Faith that by doing the right things, a higher power (Eru, Valar, etc.) will assist you in accomplishing what your goal is, as long as it's aligned with doing good and defeating evil. This game would encourage players to make the same mistakes as Sauruman did. His intentions were right- defeat Sauron, but the way he chose to accomplish that goal is what led to his downfall. He did not trust in God/Eru's plan enough to do the little things right, like Gandalf. Gandalf stuck to a set of principles despite it taking more patience, faith, and self sacrifice than the easy path ( claiming The One to defeat Sauron) AND BY STIVKING TO THAT SET OF PRINCIPLES- ALWAYS TRYING TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT!!! HE WAS THE ONLY ONE OF THE ISTARI TO SUCCEED AND IT ALLOWED HIM TO DEFEAT SAURON!!! HAVING A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IS GOOD VS EVIL AND CHOOSING TO DO GOOD, EVEN WHEN OT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE IS THE SECRET TO DEFEATING EVIL. ONE CAMMOT DEFEAT EVIL WITH EVIL! PERIOD. THATS WHY AMAZON WANTS TO RE-WRITE THE PRINCIPLES IN TOLKIEN'S STORIES. AMAZON STUDIOS HAS EVIL PEOPLE CREATING THE RINGS OF POWER SPECIFICALLY AS A TOOL TO DESTROY ALL THAT IS GOOD IN WESTERN CULTURE

The only thing that I hated about this game is that they didn’t show Talion in the armor and weapons that you have him wearing. Other than that this game is great and I love it and still play it, but idk why but that one little thing takes away the immersion for me when I’m playing and see a cut scene and he’s just wearing his basic armor and clothes and weapons. If they had kept the armors and weapons on him that you choose this game would’ve been a 11/10. It’s one of my favorite games. I love making weak orcs deranged. 😂
