This track has everything. It’s got the pretty strings, the gangster ass bass lines, confused piano, and an alien trying to warn us of our demise from ourselves, purrfect
theres not a bassline in this song, the closest thing is the bass strings but that isnt really what comes to mind when i think "bassline", and definitely not a gangster bassline
@@Otocol there is definitely a bassline, as you mentioned it is made with the bass strings, which is actually the perfect example of what a bassline is.

I just love the atmosphere and the ''world' 'of ICBYD to death, Its so perfectly abstract, nostalgic, fever dreamy, and ethereal to where it always transports me to my favorite metaphysical state, even the cut tracks like the donkey rhubarb ep and sekonda match perfectly since this style of Aphex is just so distinct.
I'm talking about a robust deeply sophisticated notion of hallucination. Hallucinations that are so real you cannot distinguish them from reality. Hallucinations that are so mesmerizing that... Imagine that you started imagining that you were a kangaroo and you just sat there day after day after day imagining that you were a kangaroo and you imagined it so much that you literally became a kangaroo and you could not remember anymore that you were ever a human. That's the kind of power of imagination that I'm talking about.

Most beautiful out of everything you've _ever_ heard? Hmm not sure if I can agree - there are _a lot_ of beautiful soundscapes out there - but "15 Sekonda" is definitely a beautiful track!

@@vico805 Kangaroo is not just extreme pleasure. Kangaroo is the realization of immortality and the realization that everything is heaven. When you realize that, it's so good, it's infinitely good. It's not just good. It's good to the infinite degree. It's so much goodness that you can't contain it. your body can't hold it. Your entire body shakes and shudders in a cosmic orgasm of bliss. It's perfection. It's total peace. It's absolute love, that's truly good kangaroo hallucinations.
I'm honestly surprised that it came out in 2015 having been unreleased for 21 years but it would have fit really well with the original release of ICBYD and the minimalist stuff on Donkey Rhubarb in 1995
I really like this track and I think it's mostly inspired by Peter Gabriel's Zaar (check after 2 minutes), though it sounds like a Steve Reich sample. What do you think ?
Me personally think: "Zaar" has more aribian, mid-east flavor, and it's for Martin Scorsese‘s movie (we already know), but you mention that "Zaar" on 2:00 has some melody and instrumental that was familial to "Seconda", I can see that. And for Steve Reich, I didn't chack yet, so I can't say now.
Good call on Peter Gabriel. I get a strong _San Jacinto_ vibe after the 2 min mark, so much so that I can almost hear Gabriel singing "I hold the line" in my head.
Sometimes I feel this song fits perfectly with a cloudy castle, like those ones from Super Mario, with rainbows, more clouds, fresh ambient, etcetera... Hahaha, I want a cloudy castle :D 7\
