In the early 90s on a holiday to Montenegro (Budva) they had power and water rationing every day. I stayed at the apartment while my friends went off. I knew I wouldn’t be able to flush the toilet so I did poo in a bag. I was shocked at the weight of it. I placed the bag on the terrace behind a pot. Completely forgot about it and when we were playing scrabble later in the evening one friend caught a whiff of something. I thought it was hilarious and owned up to it immediately. It was like trying to get rid of a body. I suppose we could have waited until the cistern filled with water and flush it but we threw it over the road into a skip. And that is the best memory of that holiday.

No I have not sh***ed in a bag before, however one of my cats once did it in my mother’s handbag, but that it a story for another day.
