In PS CS 6 may path selection works sometimes sometimes it does not. It just makes a box. no vectors nothing.

How can i apply brush, dodge,Burn, eraser or any other tool, when i create shape using pent tool shape mood,
Md. Nijam Uddin Unless you convert the shape layer to a raster layer you won't be able to use your regular tools the way you are used to them working. The tools you mention are for use on pixel based layers and shapes are vector layers. To convert your shape to a raster, right click the layer and choose Rasterize layer. When you do this, you'll lose the ability to edit the shape but you'll be able to use your tools. I hope this helps?
Helen Bradley rasterizing any shape and applying brush or any other tool which i told , is it possible to back again in shape mood? if it is how? or not any way to do this, i am asking this because when i am making any business card, or any design i have to apply shape using pen tool or rectangle.
Md. Nijam Uddin When you rasterize a shape you can't change it using the pen tool again. It would be possible to make some edits like you want using layers and layer masks and clip them to your shape.
there is no SHAPE TOOL in my Photoshop .... how do u put it??
Edlyn Molina are you using Photoshop CS6 or CC? If not, then unfortunately this video isn't going to work with your Photoshop version.
It's rectangular tool .. But I changed it already to custom ..:)

+Mahmoud Gaber Click on the shape layer and click on the Move tool. You can also click on any shape tool and when you click on the shape layer the options for it become visible. I hope this helps?

Press Alt on a PC, Option on a Mac - that draws the shape from the middle outwards.
