I’m 12 and I live in a city in Canada. I might move to another city because houses in my city are overpriced. Sometimes I would act happy to my parents but in the inside I cry.

I just want my old close friends back... I just want to see them again. xxx

I feel you girl. I was born (and mainly raised) in Italy. At the age of six, my family and I moved to Geneva, Switzerland: I had to say goodbye to my friends, my home, you know, it’s hard for a kid. Our stay lasted for about two years until we moved back to Italy. I was so happy: I was home, I got my very own bedroom, I moved in a school I loved, I made new awesome friends and I even adopted two cats! Life was perfect, until at the end of that same year, my parents said we were moving to New York City at the end of summer (where my dad was born and raised). I was so upset now, that I came to NYC with the intention of not liking it. In the end it wasn’t terrible and I’m glad I got the experience to live in different places, but I was so happy to be back in Italy after a year. With all this moving, I never got a chance to ground myself: it was always a new beginning, always having to start over again. I’m glad it happened and got to have the experience, but it was hard.

13 years ago my parents divorced, I used to live both at my mom and dads house and it wasn’t that easy but what made it worse was 3 years after the divorce my mom, brother and I moved to Arizona, I can relate so much to this story, I dealt with OCD and Depression, it was never easy, I visit my dad every year during the summer and my other family members.
I remember when I was nine, I moved away from Texas to Arizona and that meant leaving my best friend. That was years ago, but I'm still not over it. I also developed depression and my story was basically the same as yours except my parents told me it was just hormones when I talked to them about it. They honestly blame everything that happens on hormones and to "get over myself." It's gotten to the point to where when I look anything but happy (which is all the time because my neutral expression over the years has drifted from happy to insanely depressed), my mom will tell me with these exact words, "Whatever is going on at the moment, suck it up, put a smile on your face, and get over yourself because you're ruining everyone else's mood." She doesn't even consider that it's human to have emotions sometimes. I wish my parents were as considerate as yours to get a therapist at the least and I hope you get better about being away from those you love.

I can relate to you. I used to live in this small city named A__n_ur_. And I used to live in a apartment that had only two bedrooms. I had everything over there: family, friends, and this place had so many choices where to hang out with your friends. Me and my friends would live so close to each other MY (used to be..she moved away) BEST FRIEND lived right next to the building I lived in, and we would always be talking to each other from our apartment's balconies. I was so happy, I thought everything was going to be ok. Then my parents started to talk about moving to city in south Florida. And like the girl on the video, it went in one ear and out another. When we found a house in the city, I broke down. I had to say goodbye to my friends that I knew and were always best friends with from Kindergarten to the 5th grade. I remember when I gave my last hugs to my ex best friends, knowing I may never see them again in my life. I remember me walking in the hallway while they waved goodbye. OOOOOOOOOOOFFFFF. I made many friends in this city and all, but I'm not as happy as before. Luckily, I still have some of my old friends Snapchat, and I can still see them from there. But, it just hurts a lot, seeing ALL of your friends hanging out together. Some of these old friends started to ignore me. OOF. I just opened myself to thousands of people. Thanks for reading!

My god, this brought back a HUGE flashback. I'm basically just like this exact girl. I’ve moved 11 times in my live and gone to 3 different schools. My second school was the one I stayed the longest in so I grew very attached... But then the summer of 2017 I moved... I cried and cried but I’ve still never seen anyone of my friends again.. Now I’m going to my first year of middle school and most of my newer friends are moving.. so.. yeah.. my life kinda sucks..
I moved to another country because my mum kept on arguing with my dad, so I said ok because I wanted her to be happy. And she is. My sister is. But I'm not. I miss England, I mean my childhood and I had a lot of friends, I lived there for 11 years and all of a sudden, you move. But at least the others are happy. I don't have best friends yet coz my friends don't understand. They never had this before. Once I grow up I'll find my happiness somehow, maybe by going back to England. I’ve had to move a couple times in my lifetime, and it was very hard because people were more open at my old town, but people kept to themselves where I live now. Actually, come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve settled. I don’t think I ever will. I still barely know anybody and I still keep to myself. Any advice?
It's ok I'm new where I am too it's hard and since I'm socially awkward it's even more difficult but I know you will make friends even If it's not a lot, as long as they're nice. Just don't give up, stay positive and and be open. I know you'll make friends 😊

Girl of Many Vloggities I've moved around pretty much all my life, as my mum doesn't like the idea of settling down. I move house every year or two, and me and my siblings are really starting to get sick of it. As advice, I would say to keep someone or something close to you that keeps you happy but also helps you grow and learn as a human being. Last time I moved city, it took me a while to warm up to people in my school, and it sucked because I had no one to talk to. I guess during that time period I had to just find the things that made me happy and hold on to them. If you still feel really alone, go talk to a therapist- they can really help. Try and remember that you'll never really be alone and other people could be going through this as well. (:

I feel you girl. I was born (and mainly raised) in Italy. At the age of six, my family and I moved to Geneva, Switzerland: I had to say goodbye to my friends, my home, you know, it’s hard for a kid. Our stay lasted for about two years until we moved back to Italy. I was so happy: I was home, I got my very own bedroom, I moved in a school I loved, I made new awesome friends and I even adopted two cats! Life was perfect, until at the end of that same year, my parents said we were moving to New York City at the end of summer (where my dad was born and raised). I was so upset now, that I came to NYC with the intention of not liking it. In the end it wasn’t terrible and I’m glad I got the experience to live in different places, but I was so happy to be back in Italy after a year. With all this moving, I never got a chance to ground myself: it was always a new beginning, always having to start over again. I’m glad it happened and got to have the experience, but it was hard.

13 years ago my parents divorced, I used to live both at my mom and dads house and it wasn’t that easy but what made it worse was 3 years after the divorce my mom, brother and I moved to Arizona, I can relate so much to this story, I dealt with OCD and Depression, it was never easy, I visit my dad every year during the summer and my other family members.

I remember when I was nine, I moved away from Texas to Arizona and that meant leaving my best friend. That was years ago, but I'm still not over it. I also developed depression and my story was basically the same as yours except my parents told me it was just hormones when I talked to them about it. They honestly blame everything that happens on hormones and to "get over myself." It's gotten to the point to where when I look anything but happy (which is all the time because my neutral expression over the years has drifted from happy to insanely depressed), my mom will tell me with these exact words, "Whatever is going on at the moment, suck it up, put a smile on your face, and get over yourself because you're ruining everyone else's mood." She doesn't even consider that it's human to have emotions sometimes. I wish my parents were as considerate as yours to get a therapist at the least and I hope you get better about being away from those you love.

I can relate to you. I used to live in this small city named A__n_ur_. And I used to live in a apartment that had only two bedrooms. I had everything over there: family, friends, and this place had so many choices where to hang out with your friends. Me and my friends would live so close to each other MY (used to be..she moved away) BEST FRIEND lived right next to the building I lived in, and we would always be talking to each other from our apartment's balconies. I was so happy, I thought everything was going to be ok. Then my parents started to talk about moving to city in south Florida. And like the girl on the video, it went in one ear and out another. When we found a house in the city, I broke down. I had to say goodbye to my friends that I knew and were always best friends with from Kindergarten to the 5th grade. I remember when I gave my last hugs to my ex best friends, knowing I may never see them again in my life. I remember me walking in the hallway while they waved goodbye. OOOOOOOOOOOFFFFF. I made many friends in this city and all, but I'm not as happy as before. Luckily, I still have some of my old friends Snapchat, and I can still see them from there. But, it

My god, this brought back a HUGE flashback. I'm basically just like this exact girl. I was born and raised in a small town in New York, had a good amount of friends and 2 of the best friends I've met on the same street as me. Not to mention some of my Mom and Aunt's very close friends were just a small walk down the street as well. But then, we had to move out because of money problems (to this day we still have money problems). When we were forced to move here in South Carolina, I was shattered, and just like this girl, slowly became more and more sad and missed New York more and more...to this day I'm still heartbroken about it... So I know exactly how this girl feels and I can relate to her

I’ve moved 11 times in my live and gone to 3 different schools.
My second school was the one I stayed the longest in so I grew very attached...
But then the summer of 2017 I moved... I cried and cried but I’ve still never seen anyone of my friends again.. Now I’m going to my first year of middle school and most of my newer friends are moving.. so.. yeah.. my life kinda sucks..
Lps Wild Winds I also moved 3 times, tbh It’s not a big deal anyways since life moves on and most friendships don’t last.
I moved to another country because my mum kept on arguing with my dad, so I said ok because I wanted her to be happy. And she is. My sister is. But I'm not. I miss England, I mean my childhood and I had a lot of friends, I lived there for 11 years and all of a sudden, you move.
But at least the others are happy. I don't have best friends yet coz my friends don't understand. They never had this before.
Once I grow up I'll find my happiness somehow, maybe by going back to England. I hope you guys find yours too!!!

At least she didn’t move to another country. That would’ve been tough. But that doesn’t make this any less difficult. I’ve had to move a couple times in my lifetime, and it was very hard because people were more open at my old town, but people kept to themselves where I live now. Actually, come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve settled. I don’t think I ever will. I still barely know anybody and I still keep to myself. Any advice?

Girl of Many Vloggities I've moved around pretty much all my life, as my mum doesn't like the idea of settling down. I move house every year or two, and me and my siblings are really starting to get sick of it. As advice, I would say to keep someone or something close to you that keeps you happy but also helps you grow and learn as a human being. Last time I moved city, it took me a while to warm up to people in my school, and it sucked because I had no one to talk to. I guess during that time period I had to just find the things that made me happy and hold on to them. If you still feel really alone, go talk to a therapist- they can really help.
Try and remember that you'll never really be alone and other people could be going through this as well.
