- All three of the Sheppard sisters - 13 year-old Tai, 12 year-old Rainn, and 10 year-old Brooke - were living in a homeless shelter when they won medals at the Junior Olympics. From homelessness to gun violence, they've been through it ALL, but they've used track and field as their outlet.

It’s a different kind of motivation when you know that track is your ONLY option. I love these stories of going from “rags to riches”. It’s sad to have someone have to be in a bad situation at some point in life but I believe it is this hardship that makes them become GREAT!

2:28-2:30 is my whole track season distance goes out and runs 3.5 miles and strides (which to me are fun the strides not the 3.5 miles) and sprints run ladders
