However I feel that since you love plants...and, therefore, nature and hence you are into gardening..then instead of using the artificial eucalyptus pieces ...which is made of plastic and so against nature....you could have used hanging planters which are also available on Amazon...or used brackets of wrought iron or created shelves and placed plants which trail and herbs which need sunlight.

Hello mam. It looks really nice. I wanna make up my balcony the same way as you did. I just wanna know how can it be cleaned if dust settles in the grass (both horizontal and vertical). Is vacuum cleaner suitable for it or will it destroy the grass?
Thank you. I am glad you liked it. For the floor grass, vaccum cleaner is best to clean, on a weekly basis. And you may take it out and wash every few months. The wall grass is a little delicate, so you would need to use a dry cloth to do the dusting. Or if you have small water spay, you can use that.....

You are right, cleaning is very much required for this too. Just like any other part of our home. Bugs would be on our beds too if we don't clean them regularly. For this grass, you would need to clean them it atleast every week.
The plastic will melt after sometime in summer,the best of them do. money goes down the drain. EVERYTHING THAT LOOKS GOOD NOW MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE PRACTICAL IN SUMMER HEAT OF INDIA. I am not criticising you. just telling you to cross fingers so it stay without damage from heat and dust for a long time
It's not plastic... It's made of fiber... And we get direct sunlight in all our balcony because it's east facing.....and it's not damaged yet. Offcourse with time, everything gets a little damaged in sunlight, but not that easily. Even diamond ring gets scratches.... Doesn't mean people don't buy it... :) :) But I appreciate your honest feedback. Thank you.
I don't think anyone will have a shoe rack of size 4 ft by 7 ft. But then, its possible. One can keep anything in the balcony, its upto the owner. :) But for all purposes, this is still a balcony. Its not a kothi/bunglow. normally flats me itne bade hi milte hai balcony, but again, that also depends on the layout.
