Back again. It's the anniversary of the day we buried my younger son. His birthday was last week. This time of year my mama heart hurts a bit more than usual. My limbs and heart feel heavier and I can't focus very well. This beautiful song helps me remember my baby son never cried, not once and he never will. I can't wait to see him and leave this ugly world behind. I'm just hanging on for my other children.
When I was baptized with the Holy Ghost in Shreveport Louisiana we had church almost every night, and we never set down. And if Becky or someone sang a song like this people would go wild in the spirit. It’s out of fashion and it’s not dignified to some but it is to Jesus.

I listen to this song on repeat play today. The words caused tears to express the words my spirit cannot produce. And sometimes that is best. Sometimes the tears need to swell and gently wash the internal pain away. Four years ago, I wrote some comments after hearing this song for the first time. This time, however, I write to say, we never know how life’s journey will curve. But the Lord can use an old tune and video like this to wave his children home and close to his side. Bless you Lord. Never take the Lord’s doings for granted. We never know when such small routine things, like this family singing this tune for years upon years, will be used to carry someone else on. Bless you all.💜

I've loved hearing the Isaccs' during the last 15 or so years - and now to discover this treasured recording from 1992 is such a joy. Their harmonies and the gentle, gracious spirit they always convey is really refreshing to hear. Beautiful!
I started listening to them a little before this video - not sure what year. I have watched these kids grow up and have marveled at the beautiful songs they have written and their beautiful harmony. I love Lily's testimony. And now today in 2020, they are still pressing on and singing for Jesus. I love them all so much.
