I have same issue all my tires are perfect. Toyota is annoying me with this. They just want you to go to a dealer and pay for a sensor probably that’s 100 bucks . Screw that
its nothing to worry about, prob just a bad sensor. mine has been on since i bought it. just check your tires like once every couple of weeks or clear it with an obd2 scanner if you have one@@Alvin_Vivian
If u reset it it’ll keep comin’ back unless the issue is fixed. If u’ve already fixed the problem u can then reset it with the same device that u use to check the CEL itself
Never worked correctly in my 2008----light would come on in cold weather even if pressure was correct. Of course now it's totally malfunctioning----light staying on, problem with system. How much is this going to cost me, Toyota?
funktron4 / just bout a 08.. Same issue. I took it to Discount tire. They scanned all tires to see which one was not scanning. Turned out one of tires has dead battery in the tire pressure monitoring ..Said was $60 bucks to replace it.
I was having that problem today with a customers car. What u have to do is get a specialized scanner connected to pcm and reinitialize those sensors to read. May have to bring to dealer. That button under there didnt help me at all.

Check if you have a full spare , full spare may set off tpms , like my highlander did
The economy sized spare doesn't have a sensor. The full size spare does

Unrelated, but you have to fix the problem or it will keep coming back. so Scan it and find the problem first, then reset after its fixed.
