@@chaeyeonieearts I actually created in my head a fantasy world where my fursona was in New York City getting his minor passport renewed in the summer of 2001 - just a month or two before 9/11 - at the New York City office of the US State Department on the campus of the World Trade Center, after which his guardian took him to enjoy lunch at the Windows on the World on the 107th floor of the North Tower. However, due to the restaurant's strict formal dress code at the time and the blatant disregard and contempt my Buttskis have for any kind of regulation on how they choose to dress, we were forced to opt for one of the more casual establishments on the 106th floor of the South Tower. In this fantasy timeline, the Twin Towers survived 9/11 because the original scenes associated with it in my head depict 9/11 as nothing more than a small plane (probably a Cessna 172) flying into the buildings as a result of extremely poor weather conditions: dense fog and a line of tornado-warned supercell thunderstorms. The small plane had mechanical issues that limited its speed to just a few miles per hour above the stall velocity, so in addition to the buildings designed in an alternate reality to withstand an impact from a Concorde at Mach 2, a little Cessna flying at all of 65 miles per hour wasn't going to do much beyond break a few windows and slightly dent the perimeter columns at an impact level of the 108th floor of the North Tower, which also happened to ignite a natural gas cloud on those floors. This fantasy timeline saw the restaurant get renamed to Windows on America and had its onerous reservation system and dress code abolished; gone were the days of having to reserve your table up to two months in advance and having to dress in a full tuxedo and dinner jacket to eat there. On top of everything, this alternate timeline has the terrorists apprehended before they could get on the planes.
