Actually recasting a veteran is worst.Now Sam will be remembered for her bravery ans courage. Kelly has now left a legacy in PC. Fans will never forget Kelly nor Sam. I see this as a win in the long run for Kelly Monaco. Had she stayed she would have been given no real storylines. Lulu’s return would have created emotional turmoil. Fans would be divided over JaSam, DanSam and DanLulu.
@ I agree but Kelly was the and is still the only Sam GH loyal fans know. The day Maurice Bernard would retire no actor would be able to replace him. Sonny, Luke, Tracy, Laura , Robin and Elizabeth are characters that can only have temporary replacements not official one. These characters are iconic.
I really don't think that Dante Sam made a good couple I really don't I think that her and Jason made a couple that made sense and she thought she was better than Jason and that's unacceptable I feel like they killed Sam off the minute they turned her against Jason
Yes I agree with you the writer's done a bad job on Sam's character they should have rewritten her and let Dante and her have a marriage I can't stand the right is right now ring sound back you brought Lulu back.
If everyone remembers Jason and Sam jumped off the boat,she was in the dock floating and Jason saved her, the writers should have took off the show hack then,am telling everyone Sam is coming back as a new character ,but she is a villain working with Cyrus just keep watching ,then she'll be a ghost to donta, because he's hurting,hell go back lulu shortly because of his son,Jason will be back with the new Sam ,but he won't know her as Sam , she'll be a stranger, working with Cyrus,he put that drug in her IV .

The actress who played Teresa on Passions had been doing a decent job filling in for Sam. So they did not have to kill off the character.

Dante should of asked her a long time ago not wait until the end. Never cared for them

GH, could of recast Sam character. Smh This was not a good decision.
They did, with Lindsay Hartley, ex-wife of This is us Justin Hartley. As a temporary recast.
