  • In this video you see how a new electric baseboard heater is wired and installed and connected to a line voltage thermostat. You'll also see how a single gang box is changed out to a new 3-gang switch box for future wiring. 3/4" PVC is also installed along the outside of the house for a total of (3) new 20-amp circuits.

I quit watching within two minutes because of the music. Annoying and very distracting.

I completely agree. I come here to be informed. If I wanted a guitar riff on a loop, I’d go to iTunes. I don’t know why so many craftsmen think they have to play music in the background

The music is a little too much.

At the time I thought it was needed. Obviously, I don’t include much music in my videos anymore.

Was taught to never install a thermostat on or worst yet partially inside a cold draftey exterior wall. Understand that you have to work with what you have. Found that the ugly add combination 240 to 24 volt transformer with built in relay is way more accurate when used with a quality 24 volt thermostat verses any line voltage thermostat.Could never understand why the code does not require two pole line thermostats to break both hot legs.

Great hands on instruction, not so great irritating background "noise"

    Hate the background music,
some may like it, but Suggestion reduce the volume of the background music, so your commentary is a few dB hiring then the music. Otherwise your viewer turns the volume down on the music and then when you speak we can't hear you above that s...

Maybe I missed it but did you remove the duplex receptacle above the 8' long baseboard heater and I stall a blank plate. NEC does not allow receptacle above baseboard heaters but most homeowners like a receptacle under every window for holiday lights. Now with California & some other locations s banning natural gas in new houses by 2032 then10 to 15 years later make existing hones remove natural gas there will be tons of electric baseboard heaters going into those homes. With that & most houses have 1 to 2 EV vehicles wonder where the power will be cig coming from. Don't worry be happy goofy California has the answer. They will pay 50% of cost of sleeping bags & long johns to keep people warm during numerous black outs during cold winter nights.

So when you become a master electrician, you don't have to work for a boss and instead be your own boss? Could you also still work for a shop with a master electrician license?

Of course, I could whatever I want. Keep in mind that laws vary from state to state.

Nice work, but damn that music is annoying as hell.

I feel like it’s cheating running the circuits outside of the house instead of thru the walls and floor joists. Good video though, I enjoy watching you work.

Of course you could also open finished ceilings in two large rooms, a laundry room, and a bathroom, but the way I did it is more efficient.
