The players were not informed before the statement. Says all you need to know. If they’d done it 5 minutes before the statement that would at least have been a heads up. Nope, just like Spurs under Levy and Lewis there’s no class at all. I think Todd Boehly gave Poch a heads up and probably even told him he’d let the board know he would support Poch for another season, which is why Poch said it was a good dinner with him. But Clearlake wanted him out and wanted him out very early on. What a shambles.

He's not Roman-esque. Roman at least knew what he was doing. Roman also gave a bit more time than Boehly. We have a really young squad that needs at least 2 seasons to gel.

I didn’t want poch in either but was always going to take him time to get something out of this team never mind the injuries we’ve had. Left by mutual consent ? Could mean anything really, poch saying he can’t achieve what they expect of him after the club outline their next moves so they mutually agree to terminate employment cause neither will shift. Last 15 games that’s almost half a season we started to gather momentum and form. Now we are back to square 1 again. It will take the new manager the same time to get momentum and form from this squad. Who exactly should come in now?

An overrated manager who had 1 fortunate run to the UCl final with spurs and everyone started calling him world class, the most overrated manager of the past 10 years easily, don’t even bring up the French league because anyone who manages PSG is guaranteed a trophy, anyone who didn’t see this coming needs to wake up, there’s only one manager who can take a team like Chelsea full of young talent and turn them into men and that’s Mourinho.

They are trying to run the club like an American NFL franchise. There is no acknowledgement that a football team is built on relationships and comraderie. It's more art than science.

Everyone is questioning the tactic of interrupting the team's continuity under a decent manager who, in his first year filled with serious issues beyond his control, finally got his team going on a good run of games. It was his first season and they ended up in European football with players who haven't had a full season in the prem and having the most injuries (54).

Chelsea dropped lots of points against all of those same teams last season, too. So much so that Chelsea gained 19 overall points from last season. "Inconsistency" is part and parcel of a club filled with young players and is exacerbated by a club rife with injuries. Under the circumstances, Poch was a massive improvement from last season. But hey, keep harping on the negatives. It shows how broad your view is and how you are quite able to put things into perspective.
Abramovich himself would've sacked him, quite earlier too. Some fans are just whiny for no reason.

Think I’m right in saying that Poch didn’t buy any of the players as all were in place when he arrived. I’m sure he would have told the club he needed a top striker a top defender or two…… not supported
I reckon he also has little say in the out goings on the summer too, Gallagher and Chalobah are probably looking to be sold and he wouldn’t have wanted that.

It doesn’t matter, any top manager can turn any group of players into winners, he’s not a top manager he is bang average and didn’t have what it took to manage them.

Sure, the money spent on that team is always going to be pointed at, and rightly so, but I don’t doubt that they could have kicked on next season and maybe challenged for a top 4 place.
Not sure I actually agree with any top manager being able to turn an average group into winners, there are many examples of top managers not bringing a team together, look at Man Utd, having some of the best managers in the world in recent years and falling flat.
Clearly you know nothing about football or you would know Chelsea bought one of the hottest on form strikers in the whole of Europe in Nkunku when Poch came.

We True Blues are not emotional at all...we are supporting the owners. The bigger pictures is not short term performance like we did lately. We need identity and a coach who can give that going forward in which i beleive just like the owners...And that coach isnt POCH. He cant deliever....His performance isnt assuring and not sustainable. POCH IS NEVER MADE FOR US...He was a legend of mid table or top 4 aspiring teams and that is not what we are @ CHELSEA. WE ARE WINNERS and THE PRIDE OF LONDON. Goodluck to poch anyway.
When you are using few players comments due to their personal achievements to judge the overall achievement is NONSENSE. Would every other players say the same thing? The likes of mudryk would love to see him gone long ago. Because with the right coaching...mudryk is a fantastic talent being ruined by poch style....It is insane.
All those tranfers stake is just a speculations just to give poch a say by some media and fans projections. Its the issue at all. Poch is very unambitious and lacks new idea. His passion isnt matching ours.
