I owned an NTH Oberon and Scorpene when NTH first launched. These are top quality. As for the quality of the pieces, I would put them up and even above Tudor BB58 any day of the week and twice on Sunday. The only reason that I sold mine were that I needed the money. Also the crystals are double dome sapphire, the crowns are lumed, and the bracelets are fully articulated.

Ive had an NTH for about a year and a half. I really like it. The size is perfect I like almost every colorway they use. The low profile crown is nice and it i really like the wind on the miyota movement. I wish there were more watches available with this movement. The quality is really great with these also. 👍 nice work Marc. You brought us another gem!
I have the Renegade, bought directly from NTH. Gorgeous watch, impeccable movement and quality, easy to switch out bands with those drilled lugs. Could not be happier with it, always get lots of comments. Glad to see you’re now part of the NTH family!

Lately, I’ve began to pay more attention to the thickness of a watch. And not only because of my small wrist.
IMHO, I think it’s a good indication of how good a brand is in watch making.
When I see a diver with bezel 300m WR at 11mm: looks like they know what they’re doing here. 👌

I have the white dial Swiftsure and I have to say that it is one of my go to pieces. Comfortable bracelet and simply gorgeous ultra crisp dial. Lume pops less for sure than the green but it's a good trade off for a really aesthetically pleasing look overall. The UFO effect keeps drawing the eye in a good way and it wears perfectly on a 7 1/2 wrist too. It feels like quality and keeps good time for the movement used.

I have a nth vangaurd, wonderful watch. So slender, great bracelet. Kind of a keeper!!
Bought tge Barracuda Vintage Black quite a while ago. If it wasn't for the bezel design, it would be the perfect watch for my taste. Perfect dimensions, incredibly comfortable, high quality everything, NTH did an amazing job with this case.

One reason I prefer BGW9 is because I’m Red-Green deficient colorblind and I tend to see the blue tinged lume longer than I can see the green lume

Dang you, you SOB. I just found you on the interwebs and now I'm hooked and very unhappy with the watches I own and thats is your fault. I have been watching your vids the last few hours and very much dig them, and now in the middle of the NTH vid and lusting for one. I have been happy with sub $300 watches but now I know I need one of these but its not in the budget at this time so thanks a lot for putting up these great vids about these killer watches and making me so unhappy with my gear.. So now I must start saving. FYI very good vids keep[ up the great work.

Nice looking watch solid looking clasp but with a miyota movement in it I fill it should be 4 to $500 doller watch. You can get a single miyota 9015 movement for $100
Infinite beat? I guess, but I'd call the Seiko a no-beat. Loved my NTH Holland though, very high quality and that one was very unique.

Both brands have nice look and feel to them and seem to compliment well your roster of Islander watches.

Is there a way to describe the differences between the various SKUs you have for the Swiftsure and Thresher? Other than the date/no-date, it's hard to figure out from the pictures and the current written descriptions to figure out the differences between those two models.
The blue/black gradient is beautiful, but for the money, the ISL-18 is the winner.

@@mad0uche depends on your wrist size. Mine is 6.5” so 40 is perfect and 42 is absolute max. Lug to lug plays a big part. Which is why anything larger than 42 doesn’t work for me.

1) depends on the lug to lug
2) depends on the curvature of the lugs, how well the case "hugs" your wrist
3) depends on your wrist size
4) depents on your wrist shape (round or flat)
Short answer is go to an AD or gray dealer and try one on. You are the only one who can know if it's too big.
