Originally from Liverpool UK, me (Andrew The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife 8 years ago, and enjoy showcasing the island and our general life in the Canary Islands as well as travelling abroad.
Join me and Dean as we take on Parkrun at Croxteth Park in Liverpool and take on the 5KM run. I then head into Liverpool city centre to meet up with Laura at her sisters wedding!

Fantastic for a first parkrun! I do it in the same time but i'm twice the age of Andrew, 😄😄so i think i'm still fit enough for my age 😄. But running cleares always your mind so you can begin fresh on a new day!

Well done on your first parkrun 32 mins great time the great thing is you try to better your last time which spurs you on , done em for years around leeds some hilly ones tho. Shame tenerife doesn't have one, that would be a proper tour when we go there.

Those closed roads that haven’t been built on between LC and the TF1 would be perfect for parkrun. Or the track around Golf Las Americas would be good too.
Great effort Andrew! There’s a parkrun near Orlando at Clermont but it starts at 7:30am!! Get yourself there!!
There’s talk of them coming to Spain so who knows you might get one in Tenerife!!
I’ve ran that one when I was last over in Florida and it was TOUGH in the heat and humidity even with the early start! 🥵🥵 Was so tempted to throw myself into the alligator infested water just to cool off 🤣

the docks in liverpool and royal liver building hope to get there again in 23 but a hoilday to tenerife next month looking foward to it big time .and the euro pint
i was suppose to go to liverpool in 2019 but covid came a long got there in 21 loved it and a visit to anfield

(Btw my first was 31:47 in March 2014. 311 parkruns under my belt and my PB is 18:24 set in 2019!)

Got any ideas for your own wedding? Probably not, your wedding guys will more resemble Lay Di's wedding. Garvey will be the KING. He would love that.

Well done Andrew, you are a natural, the Craicmaster had better watch out 😅 I did think 28 mins was a tad optimistic though 😀 I often do the Hastings park run, which as the name suggests is an out and back seafront race and almost dead flat 😁 It's always a great start to the weekend and has become so popular with all standards. from walkers to the super quick.
iv done a memory walk for dementia there a few times its a good park 👍
