This may not be the problem ur having but after down throwing u need to walk to ur opponent a bit and Nair then do the same thing again then it will connect always walk a bit first to connect
Also Nair's hitbox is a bit janky, instead of it being like Palutena's nair where the hit box is at the two ends of the staff, byleths is only on one end, so even when the bow looks like it should hit it just misses cuz the hit box is at the other end
How to use UpB grappling while edgeguarding? Can you make a video about that? The few battles I use Byleth, all the time UpB goes for the tether instead of opponents. Thank You.
Either be above the stage or be too far off stage for the theter to aim for the edge, why not bot at once. Consideiring you can recover from incredbly low you're not at risk of not being able to come back.

If you drop ledge and jump + side b you can stall in the air and then snap back to ledge, is this a good mixup maybe if the enemy is approaching ledge?
Ven 10 If they’re vulnerable near ledge for sure. For example if a Wolf goes for Usmash instead of a normal get up Attack you could do that and get more damage, maybe more stage control as well. Also hits the characters that like to use aerials to pressure the opponent into using an option other than get up Attack or neutral get up.
For the wall tether thing I noticed in your input display you pressed the stick diagonally to the wall every try except the ones on Kalos. Is that input needed to make it work? Every time I've tried it when letting go of the ledge, it's snapped the ledge instantly. Any pointers would be appreciated
Down tilt, drag down up air into up smash. You can mix it up with down samsh if they can shield the up smash to break it. Edit: depends on weight and stage like battle field since they have high ceilings. If it doesn't work remember I said a kill combo and not a true combo.
I don't he/she is a low tier tbh. They gotta be mid on the mid tier. Not bad but lacking gimmicks. I feel like Byleth is one of the only(actually, ONLY) DLC that doesn't have any stupid gimmicks

@@unitet-6906 My issue is actually grab with the UpB, never got the guy to the spike. My recovery is fine.

It won't spike until the first hit puts the enemy at 50% or greater.
