Project shelves: kitchen window privacy.

HERE ON THIS VIDEO: I'm demonstrating how to sand down the paint drippings after the paint has dried on all but one side.
The wood as I mentioned on one of my earlier DIY videos came from an old bookshelf. They have already been sliced in half length wise. I've sanded down all sides with my handy DeWALT 5" (127mm) variable speed sander with disc shroud. I used 80 grit medium sandpaper first and then smoothed it down with 220 extra fine sandpaper.
CAUTION: Before cutting or sanding... you must use safety goggles even if you wear glasses. There are goggles for eyeglass wearers located at most hardware stores and they are inexpensive. I've learned the hard way; my left eye is still irritated from the floating saw dust. Yes I visited the doctor and still am applying the special prescription eye drops in my eye. If it still is bothering me I might have to visit the eye specialist soon.
