It's sometimes hard to believe in things like this, even when something like that happens to you. My husband has experienced some things through out his childhood and after my daughter was born a few strange things happened to her or around her but I always said it was her grandma in heaven looking out for her. Needless to say I kept a very close eye on her for a few yrs. But yeah I don't think I'd go back there if I were you or anyone else unless it was light out or ppl there. You guys are so great! Love the family and your videos. Keep it up!

Once we're delivered from danger, do we then presume on heaven's protection if we "willingly" put ourselves in danger again or "play" with the dark side by trying to find humor and excitement by retelling/reliving the experience? It really isn't "funny" is it?Is Christ glorified by these actions? Perhaps gaining a permanent victory over the "enemy" would be better?

My wife and I had a similar experience back in 1990 when dating. We lived on gulf coast Mississippi. One day we decided to drive over to Panama city florida .on the way home we came the old highway and I got sleepy. So we found a spot on a dirt road to pull off under a tree out in the middel of nowhere. We parked and I laid down in the bed of my truck . Didnt stay long cause I got a cold chill and feeling to leave . So we got up and left area back to the highway as we drove down the dirtroad just turned the corner was a dirty scary looking old man. I thought at the time and she said it .gladd we left ...later about 2 wks we saw on the news where 2 young ppl were murdered with a axe at the same place we stopped to rest . The area was off the main road so you couldnt see . They had arrested the same guy we saw walking towards us as we were leaving . Nvr again have I e er done anything like that again.

I first was a member of lighthouse bap church then later moved to Arligton heights ...and then first baptist church. I havent been back in yrs so I'm sure its changed a bit . I loved eating at the longfellow house as well as a catfish place their on hwy 90 .my mom was a nurse at singing river hosp. Went to school w the administrators son. The administrator now kevin Holland I knew as a kid his family went to same church as me.

I 100% believe. Both my husband and I have had separate experiences growing up and shared. Our apartment in Wahiawa (Oahu) was super haunted by an angry spirit. Before I moved in, it would shove him and hit him in his sleep. A few times, when he was startled awake, he'd see a dark mist rolling away from him, head into the bathroom and disappear up into the vent. When I moved in it shoved me out of bed onto the floor. It would turn on the TV, DVD player, lights. I was so afraid it would turn on the stove. It was a large high-rise complex and many people had passed away in the building. We tried smudging, it would help briefly, then start again. We told the building managers and they said other people had said the same thing. We finally moved.
Oh my gosh, what a great story!!! I'm thinking that the "cop" was actually a ghost. It can't hurt to still say Prayers of Protection. And Derik, that was great what you did. Prayers are powerful.

Always trust your intuition, we have it for a purpose!!!! I have had many (too many) haunted experiences in Scotland, Ireland, France, and countless in my home state of Texas. But the most frightening situation was when I lived in Hawaii, I stayed at the Royal Hawaiian (the Pink hotel) on Oahu. It became so escalated that the staff moved me to the "new section" (their words) so that I would no longer be disturbed!!! FYI- stear clear of the 5th floor if you have paranormal sensitivities like I do. They told me that a psychic staying in a room near mine on the 5th floor had to be moved as well because the "friendly spirit" (their words) was keeping her up every night as well!!!! I am surprised you don't have Hawaiian ghost stories...or do you????? ❤💋
@Ami Lunceford I totally agree! Prayer is an awesome phenomenon!!! I also think speaking directly to the spirits help the situation. After all, aren't they seeking validation??? Why else make their presence known? I am also looking forward to more stories. Personal stories are so much more entertaining than what you see in movies. Please keep posting personal stories no matter how insignificant or unbelievable they may seem!!!

About your lost phone you should contact TH-camr Man + River. He travels all over looking for underwater treasures. If he finds electronics such as phones he tries to find the owner and gives it back to them. He's awesome!

Hey guys! I defiantly believe in ghosts. I've had a lot of weird things happen in my house! I live alone so its not someone playing tricks on me. Story #1: Every so often, in the middle of the night, I hear someone walking around in the kitchen! It sounds like a few people wearing high heals. It gets pretty loud for a minute or so. One morning after hearing this during the night I walked into the kitchen and every cupboard and drawer was open! I freaked out! Story #2: One time I was doing laundry in the basement and just had a feeling that someone was behind me. I turned and saw a tall man staring at me. He was wearing one of those old time bolero type hats, a white dress shirt and black pants. He started walking toward me but faded away within seconds of being face to face. I've never ran up those stairs so fast. I kinda get a lot of anxiety on laundry days but I can't not do it, right!! ! About a week later I was was having dinner with my nephew and I mentioned that story to him. I was just waiting for him to laugh in my face and tell me I was crazy... but.....his face got white and he told me a story that gave me chills. He said that when he was house-sitting for me when I was in the hospital for knee replacement surgery, he was sitting on the floor in the living room playing a video game and he looked down the hallway and saw the man I had described to him walking toward him. Again, he only appeared for a few seconds. It freaked him out too! My sister told me I should ask the neighbor who has lived in this subdivision since it was built if anyone had died in my house. I'm not gonna ask cuz then they will think they have a nut job living next door! I have so many stories but it takes to long to type them out!!! Love your channel!!!!

I definitely believe in ghosts. My parents bought a farm where a woman and her parents had been murdered six months before by her estranged husband. I had her former bedroom upstairs, the only room up there. I would sometimes hear footsteps on the stairs up to my room, and the stairs would creak. I would call out, but there was never anyone there. Always freaked me out. It finally stopped after he went to prison for the murders.
I'm going to give you what I think is good advice. It sounds like something truly bad almost happened to you guys that night and it also sounds like you were freed from being pursued by evil even afterward, because of your faith in God and the power of prayer. I don't believe the dead come back to life but that satanic angels have power as well and can impersonate others trying to get people sucked into spiritualism. Especially if you willingly put yourself on their ground!
I sincerely hope you will not pursue telling more "ghost"/ "scary" stories. It could be an open invitation to have to go through more bad experiences. Halloween is considered by some as a time to "play" with the dark side and is definitely not a Christian tradition. Holding fast to your faith by being thankful you were saved from continued visitations from fallen angels and not glorifying it to entertain might be a better choice. You are obviously still bothered by the memory of what has already happened. I would hate for that to cause you...or someone watching your channel to have to go through an ordeal as bad or possibly worse as what you talked about already.
May you be blessed with discernment when making your decision and may heavenly angels continue to protect your lovely family. 🙏

I would not enjoy hearing or seeing anymore "spooky" demonic stories personally and in the future if you choose to do more pray over yourselves and your viewers for protection first. I pray any demonic strongholds over you be broken.

Super Scary though. I watched a documentary on the Survivors of Ted Bundy the other day. (I live in the UK it was on TV) there was even a victim of his he tried to lure while pretending to be a detective. It’s really sad how careful we have to be. Definitely agree on trusting your instincts. That’s why we have them. To keep us safe.
And as for the paranormal side. I completely believe in that too. I’ve had SO many experiences with spirits / ghosts.

Hey Sarah and Derek! I’m only 12 yrs old and I’m a Christian (I have a pretty strong relationship with God) so personally I don’t believe in ghosts! If what was haunting wasn’t a ghost, them I think maybe it could of been demons! Praise god that u guys are still safe! Love u guys so much!
I grew up in a haunted house. I'd wake up and a man would be standing at the end of my bed. Just standing. I found out many years later that the man and Wife who built the house had made that their daughters' room. And he used to go and watch his kids sleep. So he was just checking on his kids and now my sister and I were being watched over. She used to see him in the Hall outside the bathroom. We also heard him walking up and down the stairs if we were alone in the house. Scared me to death until I got used to him.
This is pretty awesome stuff- I was running around the city running my errands (e.g., picking up/dropping off laundry in Brooklyn) and then taking the train home later, picking up a package at the post. Then, totally hot and sweaty and started watching your videos. This one came up under the numerous ones already on TH-cam. And, unbelievably spookier than I imagined it would be. I’m an older grad student in Social Work (1st year). And just to say that my last encounter with an unseen entity or apparition happened about a year ago, in Crown Hts. Though I moved into my new place on May 25, 2021. I never ever had any encounters with ‘ghosts’ until I was living in Boston getting my undergraduate degree in design. Since then, I’ve had strange unexplainable occurrences follow, up through moving into another apartment in New York City (Crown Hts. Brooklyn) which did have a ghost … although never honestly realized it till years later. But, there are types of entities or apparitions that I’ve understood from watching many other TH-cam videos on the same subjective matter. From one in Everett, Washington at a bar where a woman went downstairs and was talking to the « bartender » in the basement of this place. She came upstairs to tell the owner or proprietor about how cool the fellow was downstairs and that she enjoyed talking to him … the Owner said to her « There isn’t anyone else in the building except you and me - who did you talk to? »
Either she went back downstairs to look for the guy but no one was there- and she left never to speak about it again. In that scenario- this is a really truly huge phenomenon where someone had the ability to be able to -see [him]. Not many can. Or be present to talk at length. It’s most likely more or less in the same vein. Because it continued after. Then stopped. Completely momentary.
I believe there are spirits out there haunting us also. The power if Derek. Love you guys. I want more bathroom stories please. 🤣💯❤💯❤

Absolutely real! I've had too many undeniable personal experiences. I'm very concerned that "cop" was not a cop. Maybe those spirits were warning you out of there to save you. Maybe they stuck with you for awhile to drive their point home.
I think when the car was acting up going down the canyon, something was in the car with yall and the car stopped acting up once it attached to you 😮. Then it began to mess with you in the following weeks. That’s terrifying!
I definitely believe in ghosts. My grandma, grandpa, and my mom all died in what is currently my dad’s house. Growing up, after both my grandparents had passed, I always heard noises coming from the attic and the cellar. Anytime I went to check it out, I could smell a pipe. No one smoked in our family at the time, except my grandpa always smoked a pipe. There was also a standing ashtray in the cellar that my grandma had made. She always decorated with mosaic tiling with these tiny tiles and this ashtray was one that always sat in the front room when my grandparents lived there. I had gotten out of the pool and ran into the cellar to get drinks for everyone out of this old fridge. When I went to grab the the door handle on the fridge, the ashtray fell right in front of me, making me jump back. I hadn’t touched anything. When I went to pick it up, I noticed there was a puddle of water on the floor. This fridge was old and the wiring was bad, so if you were wet enough, you would get a shock when you opened the door. Well, I would’ve been standing in a puddle if I opened the door. I was about 7yrs old and wearing a damp towel over my damp bathing suit & barefoot at the time. I always felt like my grandma knocked over the ashtray to keep me from getting electrocuted. The wiring on that fridge actually caught fire maybe a week or so after that happened.

Yes, I definitely believe spirits live on a different plain that somehow intersects with ours.… As for the blessing, I have always heard you should bless each room in your home when you move in and then on a regular basis after that, commanding the evil spirits to leave the space in the name of Jesus. Just because you encounter evil, doesn’t mean you are helpless against it. God is far more powerful, and He protects His own. All you need to do is ask.
I'm wondering if somebody died out there and their Spirit was trying to protect you and get you out of there and scare you out of there because it sounds like that person posing as a cop was not a cop. And maybe it attached itself to you for a couple days after that maybe it was the spirit of a child. Something definitely scared you enough to get you out of there and I consider that a blessing in a weird haunted way.

So my spooky story…. I’m from across the pond in the uk 🇬🇧 and I work in a courthouse known as Kingston crown court and one day I was in the cells ( where we keep the prisoners) not over night just during the day. Anyway I was in the cells one Saturday, work was being done to a few rooms, and after the work men left I was in there checking everything was off like the lights and just doing my lock down and I heard a BANG 💥 come from down a corridor it wasn’t the wind there r no windows down there and it’s one way in one way out. And there’s doors are super heavy no gust of wind can close then. And I hot tailed it out of there so fast it. It freaked me out.x.

I am also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I do believe in ghosts. I believe it’s satan trying to freak us out. I always try to remind myself faith over fear. I try and say a prayer and remind myself that god will protect me. I think it’s so cool that after Derik gave you a blessing it all just stopped.

We went for an evening drive in a remote part of Wales (UK) a few weeks ago... up a lonely forest track in the dark and we both started to get that feeling..... we immediately turned the car around and got out of there! I have no idea what it was, but it just didn't feel right!

Silver birch trees, I believe, not aspens. And that was an awesome story! I started the other video which then caused me to watch this before I finish the other, if that makes sense. Yes, ghosts/spirits are real. I use to look for them with a couple of professional teams as a hobby. Then at some point I realized the only spirit we need to stay in contact with is the Holy Spirit. So I totally believe you because I have seen some things myself.

Part of my belief is there are other creatures living side by side with us and God has created it that way. Some are harmless, some can be disturbing... When I feel scared and too disturbed, I can only pray and just let it be 😂
We've had dopplegangers in my home (taking the form of my dad and me) , snoring and coughing noises beside our empty bed side, footsteps walking up and down the stairs that never arrives, random flowery smell in weird corners. Luckily, never the harmful ones! It's people with bad intention that scared me the most tho. We've got a break in once and it was devastating!
I’ve experienced doppelgängers 2 times in my home. I saw 2 of my daughters as plain as day. One walked into my room and walk out. I said, I thought you were working. Called her cell phone immediately and she was at work.I saw my other daughter walk out into the back yard, I followed her out to ask if she wanted to eat breakfast outside with me. The door was closed and locked and my daughter was upstairs. Whatever I saw walked through glass. I don’t understand it, it’s confusing and a little scary. I’ve had paranormal things happen to me for yrs. way scarier things than this. Just thought I’d share my doppelgänger stories since you shared yours. Glad to see I’m not crazy that it happens to other people.

I have a story... Okay I’m very into the paranormal. I actually ghost hunt. How I got into it was when I was young I lived in a haunted house growing up. So we lived in a old 1914 mansion and it was a old coal miner place. So my mom would hear stuff . And see a black shadow all the time. And the oneday I was walking down the steps. And stopped and it felt like something picked me up and threw me down the steps. My mom and dad were sitting right by the steps watching tv in the living room. And he tried saying I tripped okay? But if I tripped how did I lift up and fall down the steps? So yeah it was freaky. But it was our home and we just had to deal with it. 😱
😳😳😳I soooooo would’ve crapped myself! Aside from the freakiness that happened, it sounds like a trip up in the mountains alone to snuggle and watch a movie in the Suburban sounds like the perfect date night! Too bad it was spoiled by... who knows what/who those people/beings were. 😳🥴

Are you both empaths? I am and have had some some strange experiences also. I'm also very intuned to the feelings of people in a room around me. I believe it's energy you can pick it up from the environment like myself.

Oh yes I forgot, we lived on a 20 acre wooded piece of land and there was a swamp on the outer part of our land and right next to it was a cemetery. Once my aunt was sitting in the lower level and saw a little girl standing at the edge of the woods. Holy moly 😳😱
When I was maybe 5-6yo I saw a lady and a man standing at the end of my bed. They kept looking at me. I was so scared. My dad told me to describe them to him. As I’m telling him how they look like his face changed. Years later he told me that I described his 2 friends that died around the time I saw them. After that incident many many things have happened. The worst experience was when in a dream I saw my friend and myself pregnant. I knew something was wrong with my pregnancy. The next day I contacted my friend and told her my dream. She was actually pregnant but no one knew. I told her it was a girl and yes it was a girl, she confirmed it. The sad part is that I found out I was pregnant too but wks later I lost my baby. I have to say I wasn’t planning on being pregnant and it was a surprise when this happened. I have a long list of experiences good and bad but I refuse to “tune in” into it. It’s too much to handle.

I am Canadian 🇨🇦 and as a nurse, I have seen and heard a lot of stuff, that I cannot explain. I have been with many people when they pass including my own family members.
I liken being with someone as they pass over is like being with someone giving birth. It is a “spiritual experience”, is the way I would describe it. It is still part of life. I am not sure about your religion, I am a Christian so I believe in GOD and heaven, I know that there is evil - and I believe when GOD made us humans, we are made from the elements found here on earth, every nerve in our body is “charged” how our muscles our heart everything works and we have been told Energy is continuous. So what happens when we pass? Well our body is of no use so we shed our earthly bodies and I think that the energy just moves out of our body, that we no longer need. I do believe the energy may stay around in the earthly realm to maybe communicate with someone, something that was left unsaid. I thank GOD that He has protected me from any dark energy so far and pray that he continues to do so. Of course I have no idea about what happens when we do go “into the light” or “beyond the vail”..... I do know there is a “bright light” from one of my patients when he passed over.
I worked on a vascular and thoracic surgery unit in the 1980’s. I was a young nurse in my 20’s and it was a night shift. The weather was horrible, we just got to work ahead of the expected snowstorm. Overnight it turned into blizzard conditions. There was always only 3 nursing staff on for that shift. There was myself and another Registered Nurse and one LPN.
We had one elderly man who we had been closely monitoring. He had graft surgeries done on his legs and his groin area. He was septic, we had been giving him IV antibiotics. The areas 2 groin incisions were infected and weak and the sutures were barely holding. The surgeon stated that there was no more that he could do. They had been trying unsuccessfully to contact family for a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) and the patient had been incoherent for over a day.
The other RN and myself while doing rounds checked on him hourly and to see if he had any bleeding. There had been none. At 6am checks, (our shift ended at 7:30am), we discovered that his incisions were bleeding, outer clips holding but inner graft sutures had let go. We put thick gauze pads over his groins and applied pressure, and looked at each other as he opened his eyes and spoke. This patient had been pretty much unconscious for 2 days and incoherent.
But clearly he said “I’m in a tunnel. What is that light? I see a light” there was minimal light in the room, still fairly dark and snowing outside. Both of us looked at one another, our eyes got bigger with each statement he made. We kept reassuring him, everything was fine. Was he having pain etc and we stayed with him.
We got the LPN to make a call to the surgery resident on call re the change in condition. Who was slow to make it to the room and pronounced the poor man. By now it was close to 7am. I like to think he passed rather peacefully, at least the other RN and myself felt he did. We stayed with him.
Instead of our usual taped report at 7:30 we gave an in person oral report and in fact we stayed on until 9:00am because some of our staff still hadn’t arrived due to the storm.

I’m an EMT, and there is almost a sense of peace in some peoples’ passings. I plan to go into anesthesiology as either a CRNA or anesthesiologist depending on if I make it into med school. I definitely plan to always keep my mind open to be able to be fully supportive of people during that time.

I definitely believe in ghost and supernatural stuff I have this memory that I’ll never forget I was at work and I was really sad that day because it so happened to be a year since my dear nanny passed away as I was leaving I saw this big beautiful blue butterfly 🦋 flying around me as I was walking I reached my hand out and the butterfly landed on my hand I have a strong feeling it was my grandmother
You guy's make Me want to be young again, wishing I had a time machine to visit for a bit lol. A reminder, we have dominion over demons and such, just rebuke it and command it to go before Jesus, he will deal with it! God bless You guy's to the moon 😊

That was a great spooky story! That area you guys were at, seemed extremely dangerous!!!! You definitely had the protection from Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That last story was absolutely spooky. I used to work at a very old hospital here in Honolulu, Straub Hospital. I worked in the O.R. during the swing shift, 2:30- 11:00 p.m. Sometimes we would have surgical procedures at night. Some of them involved amputations, like bellow the knee amputation. Being that I was the O.R.Tech., I was responsible for taking the body parts down to the morgue in the basement. We needed to put the parts in the refrigerator in the morgue so the Lab people can work on the parts the next day. So it's very dark, very late. I've always been very religious and a strong, born again Christian, but I've always been curious about ghosts. So, whenever I would go to the morgue with a body part or even a deceased patient, I would finish putting the items or body in the fridge, and I would turn off all the lights and just wait and see what happens. You could not see your hand in front of your face!!! It was pitched dark. I did this for 8 years that I worked in the O.R. Nothing ever happened. I'm sure this is something Our Heavenly Father would not be very happy about, but I was young and curious. I would always hear stories of workers seeing a ghost of a nurse dressed in 1930's nurses uniform, hanging from a noose from the ceiling. This was down in the basement, by the door to the morgue. I think I was just protected from seeing any of that stuff. I really miss that job. It was the most interesting job I ever had.

The priest of our catholic church used to be the assistant to the Exorcist in our area. He has told us too many stories about his experiences. Evil is just as real as good. But the good thing is that the name of Jesus Christ always casts out evil! Also he told us it is so important to avoid letting demons in through various spiritual games, movies, cards, books etc. Evil is REAL. Make sure your children are not being curious and dappling in these evil games etc. even if it’s just for fun it is still a way that the demons are invited in.
Yes! 👍 I'm Catholic too and was told by Priests of things that happened to them in certain places they're were visiting, etc. Really scary stuff. Yes, no ouija boards or tarot cards, etc. Those are all connected with Satan.
Curious about the games, movies and books. I know about the obvious stuff like Ouija and Tarot cards but what kind of movie could let a demon in?
@@theangrydome I would stay away from any type of witchcraft book. Even if someone is curious, it doesn’t matter. And as for movies, just use your conscience. Remember our eyes are the window to our souls… So just be cautious.
I agree. I cannot watch scary movies. I watched 2 scary movies when I was a young teenager. They scared me so bad I stayed in the floor at one and ran out of the theater at the other. I don’t do haunted houses either. I don’t like being scared. I feel like that is straight from the enemy. The Lord gives me peace and I live for that.
I had a bizarre experience at an old boutique hotel in New Orleans several years ago. I stayed in this hotel for four days and I know my room was haunted. Tv going on and off, The temperature getting ice cold and when I would turn the thermostat it would be back to a low setting an hour later. This went on repeatedly. The last night there my bed started violently shaking when I was trying to fall asleep before a very early morning flight. I didn’t want to change rooms with only five hours before my departure so I laid awake scared. I thought I was going crazy. I stayed at the same hotel a couple of years later (it was close to where I needed to be and I wanted to see if I’d have an experience or if I was imagining things or what) and had no experiences that time. When I checked out I asked the gentleman at the front desk if he would be willing to answer a crazy question… I said “do you think this hotel could be haunted?” And he said “why, did you have an experience?” I told him about my previous trip and all of the things that happened but that this trip I had nothing happened and he said the hotel was definitely haunted but only in a certain part of the hotel which is where I stayed the first trip.
Power of love. That was crazy creepy and I would have been crapping my pants in that vehicle. Gosts ARE real. I’ve got tons of stories living in my grandparents house grampa had built while on his death bed. a number of other people claim to have seen him on the property. Thankfully I haven’t. But I can feel when some one is around me. I’ve lived here and raised my kids here. Now they are grown and gone, and I’m usually home alone. I’m just used to the creepiness here I guess. They leave you alone if you ask them to.

Satan only has power through the earthly beings that decided to join him. From there they absolutely can haunt and hurt people. They pray on your fears. Your guardian angels were there that night and the night in Derek's parent's house. The blessing broke the link. Continue to do so. They lay in wait for your weakest moments. BTW I am not LDS. But know the power of prayer and God's love. I have seen with my own eyes unexplainable phenomenons. We are conceited and deft if we think we are the only creations God made.
