This lift kit seems like a nice way to mess up your gear ratios, suspension geometry and steering angles. Not to mention the excessive vibrations caused by messed up drive shaft angles. If anyone thinks about installing this on their car I strongly advise to just get some 205/70 R15 AT tires instead. They will fit on the stock suspension, will not rub and most importantly won't destroy your car.
I did at around the same time you were swapping the 2J into your 940 I was building my 940 wagon to be a daily Drifter and I just recently broke it I also have a Volvo S60 T5 I was thinking about yanking the motor from the S60 and dropping it in the 940 but the head gasket blew leaving me carless at the moment I might sell both cars or part them out
@@alebone_ the T5 was vandalized when it broke down at my workplace some people stood on the hood they stomp the hood they bashed on the rear quarter panel in a peeled one of the windows down they were in the car they smoked in the car there's cigarette Burns only left it there for 2 days and when I was drifting the 940 wagon believe it or not I never hit anything I never hit a curb when doing tandems I never hit anyone's car the car itself what's still in perfect condition but the intercooler piping popped off when I was at a drift event and as I went back out to go sliding again I left the socket wrench in the latch So at around 50 or 60 miles per hour the hood flew up a didn't hit the windshield on the 940 but it flew off so I have a hoodless Volvo now

My friend has a beat up 960 sitting under a tree... is the lift procedure the same as a 940? I'm only familiar with 240s...
should be because the 960 and 940 are the same chassis only the 960 has a 6 cylinder and the 940 has a 4 cylinder motor.
newer 960 sedans got multilink in the rear. so that part will be different
