The interviewer should have some element of professionalism in her. The person responding to her questions is speaking hindi and she goes on and on in English. I bet she knows diljit isn’t comfortable in English but she has no respect for that fact

That's a misperception that he doesn't knw English , he likes to speak his own language for his people . I'm punjabi too and Believe me it's hard to speak Punjabi these days everywhere considering the fact that people r mad over Punjabi , I used to speak Punjabi in school and teachers used to kick me out. This madness needs to be stopped.
Psycho Gaming In my opinion punjabi is a widely accepted and loved language these days thanks to punjabi music. I’m a punjabi too and proudly flaunt my mother tongue. In Diljit’s case, he has many times and on many platforms confessed he doesn’t understand the English language as much and I truly admire him for being vulnerably honest yet confident in all the interviews he gives. He’s made us all proud

So, basically he is an introvert. But many people confuse it with shyness which is totally different. Introvert people are not necessarily shy. But we have made more out spoken and extroverted personality as role model and acceptable norm for people to be. It's hight time people need to understand about the difference and it's absolutely okay to be any one of two.
Bollywood has a huge complex of communicating in non-English language off the screen even though their silver screen earnings are hugely dependent on non English languages. One can easily make this out from their body language that actually respects English speaking actors.
