The very start of Baby Monster started on the YG Enterprise channel with YG announcing the Next Movement and dropping their individual live solo covers.
I did think that Ahyeon was put into quite a high risk position at the time. She has been training as a mid range singer rapper with the occasional High note for colour for 3 to 4 years. The switch up to the higher range was clearly difficult for both Ahyeon and Pharita. The change in strategy to have two High note belters, Haram(Rami) and Ahyeon clearly was only formulated at the Last evaluations with all the girls surprised with the choice of songs being vocals rather than what the girls trained for, hip hop rap, heavy on the 808s. Ahyeon did not debut likely due to some physical injury, likely having hurt her vocals and had to rest for a long period. Fortunately she did recover to debut in Sheesh.
