And i think white women look terrible with tans etc. I don't understand why people can't be natural and be who God made them to be.

Yep, this is my first time seeing her interviews, I've only read them, but after this, I can see Keke successfully hosting her own talk show. She can command that attention and keep you engaged.
Understand that a black woman wearing her hair straight, isn't just a white thing. Learn your history brother. Not all black women have thick course hair. Actually there are African women with long straight black hair. I myself, have long fair textured hair. Black women are versatile. Thee most versatile women there are. We can adapt and wear styles that white women or women from any other race couldn't wear. You should talk to the white women who wear their hair braided, get Botox in their lips, surgery on their asses, or lay in cancer causing tanning beds to darken their skin. Two of the blackest people in the middle of Africa can lay down and produce a white baby with blonde hair and blue eyes called albino. So do your history before you try to limit black women to only looking a certain way. We are more than the way we wear our hair. Congratulate and celebrate these black woman for not conforming to what society thinks of black women. They are making their marks in this world and making our race look good. They are intelligent and successful. Is that not enough? There in nothing more beautiful, than a black woman, no matter how she choses to wear her hair brotha!

i love keke palmer's personality! she seems so down to earth, cool, and regular. She doesn't act like a weirdo like most childhood stars. Kudos to her parents, they seemed to have raised her right, you never here anything scandalous about her. There are very few positive role models in young hollywood and she is one of them.

I know it's not the SAME thing, but sometimes all this hair talk gets to me because, being white, my hair doesn't naturally look like what a lot of y'all are calling "white" hair, either. Do you realize how ALL types of women manipulate the natural texture of their hair to look more sleek/smooth/straight, etc.? MANY of us naturally have curly or frizzy or crimpy looking hair. MANY of us have hair that requires HOURS to detangle, regardless of race. MOST of us color our hair or get treatments put on it to change the way it looks. Just saying. "White hair" is very often not actually the hair you see on white people's heads, either.

These comments are just ignorance. African Descent( Black) people come in many shades and colors. They can be as Black as ink to as white as paper or this screen on this page. Many look West African, East African, Arab, in between, mixed or even White and you wouldn't know.
The most diverse group of people on the planet far as features and culture. Most take own their identity based on what country at which they were born too. Skin, features, or hair does not determaine if you are part of the African Diaspora genetic makeup does not matter if you see them in Dark people or not.
EXAMPLE: A Afro-Latina born in Belize( which is part of Central American) I would say I'm Belizean.
EXAMPLE: Another girl who is African-American born would say I am American. Or slang version "Black".

Do y'all realize how many none black people straighten their hair! White, Hispanics, middle easterns and other ethnicities may not have as course hair like we do but they also don't have naturally straight hair! A lot of them also have to either blow dry or flat iron their hair to get it straight. Idk why pple are so concerned about what black women do! 1. If you did your research you'd know that there are people with cocoa skin that are born the blonde hair. Therefore it's not just a "white" thing.
2. I'm almost positively sure that is not "White" females hair, probably some Malaysian or Indian hair.

Yeah I get you, but I was just wondering because for instance, I could tell that Keke's is obviously dyed because of her dark roots, and it is not super sleek or something (not that there aren't blondes w/ coarse hair). Also, there are all different types of hair especially with African Americans because of Caucasian dna sprinkled around in their dna that mixes things up. So I don't get how to tell just by looking (plus some wigs/weaves are really realistic). Side note: I can usually tell that Wendy wears wigs and weaves though haha
