Wow, nice honey mushrooms (Armillaria Mellea)...they will have a ring, not ringless (Armillaria tabescens)... Parboil young caps for 5 minutes then cook as you normally would a mushroom. Don't agree with everyone but this may be due to improper cooking. They are pretty good. .

According to my further studies. These yellow mushrooms were most likely edible Honey Mushrooms.
