A fine Golfer and ambassador for the sport of golf but more than that, a gentleman. Humility is one of the greatest traits in a sportsman and he has it in spades. Well done Brian. A most deserved victory in this toughest of tournaments.
I wouldn't say no-one cared, but in some ways it is like the year Curtis won, or the years Campbell or Hamilton winning the US Open... fans want the big name and when they don't get it they feel cheated (I guess). Strange, but there you are. Good thing fans didn't feel that way when young whippersnappers like Nicklaus and Palmer arrived to challenge the old guard...
Heaven forbid an American win. An American from the South. An American from the South with a southern drawl. Still jealous we broke away from the tyranny and started and continue the Greatest Country in the World. It was really sad to see UK lashing out, calling him names and taunting him. But, we always win. A gentlemen’s game?
What were they saying/doing to him?...I've not seen anything, I didn't watch live or anything til now. If they were heckling or name calling, that'd be putred & unacceptable, but not surprising in this leftist whackjob world🤦♂️
Tiger won the Open and the Masters in 2005 and Mark O'Meara won the Open and the Masters in 1998. Nick Faldo won the Open and the Masters in 1990. Matt Fitzpatrick won the US Open in 2022 not 2021. Please get things right!
It is called that because it was the first truly "Open" championship. Saying it should not be called that because others came after is like saying that the tennis or GP masters is the same as THE Masters. It was the first tournament to accept top players from around the world.
There are lots of Open Championships. To refer to this one as "The Open" seems pretentious and has many novices wondering, "which open?". But it has the history so you just accept it.

They got all this content before the US Open got theirs out. Props to the content team for this
Brian has gotten so much unnecessary hate. It was great to see him win this year. He earned it and deserves more credit.
Still playing well right now too.
A superb championship and a deserving champion, Hoylake like Lytham is a storied and perhaps sometimes underestimated test.
You guys post up the best media. Thank you.
Little David slew the Goliaths. Happy for Brian.
Not enough credit has been given to Brian Harman for this performance. One of the greatest of all time IMO
Remember watching on Sunday and he just kept striping it off the tee. He was so locked in. Incredible performance.
He was great the whole week. He made it look easy and stress free.
Sometimes the good guys win. Let's hope 2024 is a great year for pro golf, 72-hole tourneys, and competition.
This is exactly the right way to start the new year. 🕳🥃🍣
Really Awesome!
152nd here we come!

Well played, Brian Harman in the conditions on the last day.⛳😀👍
Guy had like 20 gloves in his umbrella walking up 18 on Sunday, what a legend
Nice to get on this content in terms of Brian Harman.
Love it
Great video!
Wish the Masters and PGA had these films.
Must be amazing.
He lapped the field and nobody cared. 😢
If Woods would have done that they wouldn’t have shut up about it.
People cared it's just they decided they wanted to be negative and hate him for absolutely no reason.

Where is the bow hunting scene?
the main thing i'll remember from this open was the waggles
Tbh I wish this would be called “The British Open” instead of “The Open” it makes more sense.
Its because you can qualify from other opens across the world
@@jdeogaming true but it still should be called “The British Open”
For the longest time, that's what it was called in America. Now we just have to get used to how they want it.
They also play in Scotland and Ireland

You know this is a golf video right?
Brian who?
The guy with the trophy…… ageary who?
A drab course, drab weather, a boring tournament. Zero atmosphere. Utterly forgettable.
