When people say things like "Peep is the Cobain of our generation", I don't think they try to compare the two, I think that they're comparing the type of impact they both had on music. Just like in 15 years from now, the younger generation then will treat Peep like we do Kurt, with a future artist that will have a similar impact.
True that, just hope it doesn't create a bunch of "copycat suicides" like Kurt's passing did, and I don't even think Kurt's was a suicide in my opinion after finding out Courtney had handwriting practice sheets of Kurt's handwriting in her bag concerning his suicide letter.
