Maybe churches can hold a ranksgiving buffet. Everyone contributes a dish that they aren’t sure they should serve for their Thanksgiving meal. Then the consumers can rank the dishes, and help the creators decide if they should serve it on Thanksgiving Day. 😁

Listen, I messed around and made a lemon pepper turkey 8 years ago. Apparently, it was amazing. They keep volunteering me to make the turkey. I do something different every year, trying to get out of it-just because I know folks are going to make faces and get to complaining… but EVERY YEAR it’s a good bird. I refuse to let it burn or dry out-because meat costs too much to play with it-but if I could just get a flavor profile nobody is down with… I might get off of turkey duty and out of Thanksgiving. I’ve been trying so hard! 😂 Next year, it’s raisins and paprika.
