    Nice!! I was looking high and low for the black+decker steam mop.. it's been discontinued, no wonder cannot find! Glad that you've gotten hands on the new one and able to share with us how it compares coz I am really thinking/considering to get one for my house. The new smaller version of dyson vacuum looks to be very promising for use by my old folks once they move into their elderly flexi-2 room. was watching your video with my dad and he was quite impress by the size and functionality of the dyson vacuum. Thank you for sharing but I have reservation on the steam mop for laminated flooring. The tiles are techically glue on and by applying heat on the surface over a period of time, would it not loosen the attachment of the tiles to the flooring?

    • @AlexTeo

      actually it won't, in overseas people heat up their laminated floor as well during the cold season

    Hi Alex, for the steam mop, do you need to add any detergent to it? Especially for sticky floor after spillage of Milo for example

    • @AlexTeo

      technically you shouldn't apply detergent into a steam mop, I will suggest you to apply directly onto the mop pad if you want

    hmm, but the soft roller for dyson was never meant to be used for rugs/ carpet. they have another bristle motor head for rugs/carpet. as for it being too long, they do have another tools which is the flexible hose. Seems like those accessories does not come with ur ominiglide thats why. Also one little note, if u ever had a frayed dyson bristle, twist it back after running with hot water.

    Great stuff, Alex!
    Do you have to deep clean the steam mop cloth after? Outside of the steam function, it doesn't seem to have much advantage vs a push/spray mop?
    Also tineco vs the steam mop, which is better for convenience when paired with a robo vacuum?

    • @AlexTeo
      @AlexTeo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can throw the mopping cloth inside a washing machine if you want though i prefer to just handwash it, take less than a min. I used to have the rubbermaid spray mop, its a big difference man. I recommend an All-in-one like tineco only for those that can't use a robot

    Just curious. Does the handle of the new Black & Decker get hot during usage like the previously reviewed Deerma steam mop?
    Is there a need to buy extra cloth during the initial purchase? Or we use any same sized cloth as replacement?
    With the larger water tank, is it sufficient to mop your entire house? Previously you had to top-up twice for the older model.

    • @AlexTeo
      @AlexTeo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the handle won't be hot don't worry but the body will be warm. It comes with 2 mopping pad, it's exactly the same and can last you quite long. Still twice haha, if I go with the lowest setting all the way might be able to do it in 1 single full tank
