i love Painter's minimal design and that you can change brush size and opacity with your fingers is the best thing. If they would make a good vector section it would be gold, i definitely would pay more money for that.
Yeah, they have a vector app called "Infinite design", but the last time I used it it was quite laggy. Interface is pretty good tho.
I used this app for ages but it wasn't getting much love from the developer...until last week! Glad to have it back in my library again as it has the best perspective tools going!
This is fantastic can’t wait to start doing your tutorials. So glad they have the 2 finger clear
I’ve had Infinite Painter installed for years but never really took the time to explore it properly. Your overview has opened my eyes and I’m definitely going to play around in the app more.
Thanks so much for this video! Take a 👍🏾& sub😊
I Watched this awhile ago the minute it came out, i'm not kidding I was pretty much one of your first viewers on this channel, than I came back the next day and you were already at 75 subscribers! Keep up the content, you're doing great!
Great to see this app get some love. I find it works more smoothly on Android devices (Samsung devices I guess). On an iPad I find the brush engine of procreate to be better, but I do enjoy Infinite Painter as well. I wish IP was able to use Photoshop brushes, that would be a total game changer. Also Android devices have more RAM and more RAM means waaaaaaaay more layers in IP.
I have recently discovered Infinite Painter 7, I come from Sketchbook and I was looking for something similar to procreate for my samsung tab but I couldn't find detailed tutorials. I thank you infinitely for all this work💙👍👍
Joel, thank you so much for making these videos on infinite painter. I just got a new galaxy tablet and have discovered that this app seems to be the closest to procreate. I've been looking for a channel that is dedicated to teaching how to use IP and have subbed to your channel. I'm very much looking forward to seeing more of your videos! Cheers mate!
Ahh awesome 🤩 tutorials are released weekly on Fridays so stay tuned. Don’t forget to turn on notifications 🔔
Despite the two being similar in many aspects, there’s something about Infinite that I can’t get enough of. Procreate somehow never felt as natural to me despite using it for a whole year. Being able to move all of my icons out onto the screen and put them where I want is super helpful for making my workflow smoother. The three finger brush size and opacity thing is something that easily became second nature to me. The brushes just make sense. The only things that bothers me are a couple of bugs that limit what I can do. The biggest one is resizing my canvas. The app simply can’t handle it and will crash whenever I try to reopen the canvas. I hope they get fixed.
That’s an amazing view point thank you 🙏 great to see that IP has a big fan base
Looks great ! Hopefully this app will motivate the Procreate devs to push better features. Like fr, we haven’t gotten any useful update since September 2020 💀
It's so nice to see this app getting love! I've been using it for a while on Android and I haven't tested most settings/tools so this video was really helpful!
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Be sure to check out my tutorials too on my channel 😀😀
What a wonderful app and what a nice way to explain things! I’m a happy Procreate user but I’ll get Painter right now. You convinced me. Thank you so much!
Ahh awesome come and join in the fun 🤩 plus you can follow my main channel for procreate content @joelcreate
Works very similar as Procreate, however have very interesting features that I’m very interested to work with those. Happy about this video! Thank you Joel❤ looking foward to know more about this app
Great vid !!! I just discovered this app and I am just learning procreate. I am loving this app however because of the basic Proko brush pencil. I already bought the full version and cannot wait to explore more of it. I look forward to watching to watching your future tutorials.
Great vid. Just subbed, looking forward to more Infinate Painter tutorials!
Thanks for the sub and stay tuned every Friday for draw along with me tutorials 😀 there’s some on the channel now
Thanks.. Long time user of painter but stopped over the frustrating issues with brush management. There's thousands of user created brushes in the community but the only way to access is to scroll thru...not helpful at all. I like texture brushes but finding them is just too time intensive. However did appreciate your reminder of the fill, filter and edit options. 😊 looking forward to more content... Cheers
Loved this video thank you very much. I wish you all the very best with your channel and will look forward to seeing more from you. Subbed!
谢谢你的视频,让我充分了解了这款绘画软件
Great review. Love Painter-Being able to see my layers whilst painting! That’s huge. Also it’s more painterly how it picks up the paint under the brush.
Thankyou great video just what I've been looking for
i literally just got a tablet to try out digital art. im a complete newbie and i havent been able to find any good tutorials. yours is very good!
Nice quick tour, Infinite Painter is a great app loaded with features. Love it as much as I love Procreate.👍🌟👏
I hope infinite painter has an animation too but it's a solid tool for artists
As an artist...I have been using Infinite Painter for 8 years now and I can safely say..it is as good as if not better than pro create for basic as well as professional works..the difference tho wud be in the amount of exposure and popularity Procreate has..and with more popularity comes more options
Awesome! I'd love it if you could compare Infinite Painter and Ibispaint X 😀. You explain so well 😊 thanks for the videos and I subscribed. All the best with your channel😄
Can you also do a side by side comparison of features? And alternates for ones on procreate that can be found on painter
Im on android and ive jumped from one app to another and found myself loving infinite painter. Have been using it ever since. Love it
you can increase the timelapse video quality in procreate but you have to do it when creating a new canvas or editing the canvas template settings in the gallery
OMG. As an android user im so happy to find an infinite painter channel.
Thank you 👍
I've used Infinite Painter for years and I'm glad it's getting some love. It's a great tool!
The person that invents a glass hybrid that is clear and fingerprint proof will rule the world.
Salaam! Awesome… Sometime Less is more (Procreate)…Old school Masters🌹
I am learning to use hi paint from your videos, now infinite paint looks more amazing ❤❤
Infinite Paint seems more organized, comprehensive, and intuitive.
Joel - you are honestly amazing. You describe everything so well and so clearly. I'm someone who could only draw a stick figure and have decided to dabble into art. I went straight for digital art as I knew I'd enjoy it. I've only done one painting so far which was your beautiful lighthouse!
You are a natural with content creation and deserve a lot more subscribers, which I know is something that will happen over time. I am going to get stuck in to all your videos. I hope to learn enough talent to be able to draw my late dog one day :)
yes this tutorial was helpful please do share more tips and tricks for this software infinite painter it would really help us, thanks
Thank you from Italy.
Hipaint is amazing, it is like they finally heard what people what. Procreate on android. I have been using it since it came out also made videos on it on my youtube profile and challenge to draw with finger and brushes for realistic portraits.😊 Because app is great but brushes that come with it are basic and not very helpful. 😂
as a photoshop user on windows 10 ive tried procreate and of course the features arnt the same but im loving artstudio and as for vector, forget vectornator and illustrator, try affinty designer 2
I love that simple UI on infinite painter. Easy to understand, friendly for beginner, respond very well with the pen, good stabilization. The tools maybe inferior to procreate but more than enough for me. Im using infinite painter more than procreate on my ipad.
What i love the most is ability to change from tool a, b, c, d faster with that interface and how i can download easily tons of new brush inside the application :)
I use sketchbook with my picasso tab xl because it's easy to use 👍
Hi, would love some tutorials on how to use Infinite Painter as I just got a Samsung tab and downloaded the app. Your video has already helped me so thank you.
I want those filterin procreate
Infinite Painter is Poor Man's Procreate 😁
I've heard good things about this app...never tried it..maybe it's time to give it a try. TH-cam recommend your video somehow...Looking forward to your tutorials...👍
😂 reading the start of that comment I thought you were coming with some heat 😂 have fun with the tutorials my friend
@@joeldesigns Haha😁 No Man..There are already a lot of trolls out there.. I'm never gonna add up to their every increasing population 😜
Love this app, truly. I have a Samsung tablet. I always wanted to use procreate but in my country an Ipad is like a year worth of rent for me. So to me this is like Procreate's twin sister. I love it. It looks and feels very similar.
Infinite Painter also works awesomely on PC using Bluestack 5. Why not check it out there too with a 7 day free trial or one time payment of just £7.49
I'm actually impressed by the app
Joel this is an amazing video. I tried switching from procreate to infinite painter but what's keeping me from switching completely is the brush engine. I dont like procreate's engine either so I'm stuck between the two. Do you have any idea how I can have the opacity change based on pen pressure? That's the one thing i need right now
I don’t know the answer to that one unfortunately without understand both engines details. But I’ll take a look and report back IF I find something 😀
@@joeldesigns Found it! Its in the settings inside the head tab. Then scroll down to dynamics amd then adjust the flow
cool
I wish I could make animations with infinite painter:(
I keep wondering if I should get an ipad and pencil for procreate as I like a lot of the effects I've seen used. But with medibang and infinite painter on android its a hard choice.
Procreate is by far the best, super stable and powerful. Its what my entire main channel is about - joelcreate
I have an android tablet and currently use Infinite Painter. I just started doing line art. Can you recommend a decent stylus? There are zillions of them out there.
hey 👋 for android unfortunately not, i only use my ipad and apple pencil. I can imagine theres loads out there
It looks good, but I already have Artstudio Pro, alongside Procreate. I must say Infinite Painter looks like a great alternative to Procreate and Artstudio Pro for Android Users, since both Procreate and Artstudio don’t have an Android version and a more affordable alternative to Artstudio.
hi Joel, i would like to know which tablet an pen are you using... it seems that you are using apple tab and the same apple pen? regards
I think I will be sticking with Procreate, I’m still learning and enjoying using it. I also only have Apple iPad so don’t need anything for android.
The issue with infinite painter in its current version is it has a lot of bugs that range from mildly annoying, to workfkow breaking and sometimes makes you lose all your progress.
Yeah I occasionally have had things like that, very hit and miss but the majority of the time it’s been good. Their team looks active and have promised updates this year 👌
Is there any app on android that lets not only draw but to make hand drawn animation as procreate?
I can drag out any tool and create a favorites bar, with all my favorite tools. Can you not do that in your version? I have put some layer tools there, plus selection tool, liquify, fill tool etc.
Now I kinda regret that I bought procreate 💀, I like the design more on this, but one thing that procreate beats this app that makes the difference is comunity/popularity there are a lot of videos on yt about this app and drawing in this app compared to infinite painter
Yeah I agree ☝️ that’s the exact reason for this channel 😀😀 make sure you download infinite painter as it’s free for a limited version 😀
Good app, except for frequent crashes and possible file corruption (happend to me). ArtStudio Pro is way better (good thing I bought it way ealier and don't have to buy subscription)
I try infinite painter and it's look like the same
I've used Procreate since it's release. Purchased Infinite Painter a couple of months ago. The most remarkable difference between the two is that Procretae is solid and crashes only very very rarely. Whereas Infinite Painter crashes multiple times with every use.
Yeah I’ve noticed that too on occasions though. Like some are silky smooth, where’s some sessions one edit will repeatedly crash it, fingers crossed for stability fixes 😀
@@joeldesigns reviews seem to indicate stability fixes have been off the menu for a long time 🤷🏻♂️
Omg this. Infinite would have been perfect (i especially love the fill brushes) but dag the constant crashes and layers not properly hiding and reshowing was so frustrating that i refunded the app. 😢
Bro can i use infinite painter for commercial use i mean can i sell my art work created in infinite designer to sell
You can not sell your work from my tutorials as I own the copyright. My tutorials are for educational purposes only. However any work you create that’s not from my tutorials you own so you can do what you want with.
@@joeldesigns iam not saying that i want to sell your art i mean that do you know weather infinite paint allows us to do commercial use of art work created in it?
Small correction Procreate has gone up to $12.99
Likely due to increase app tax, still well worth it
I think Infinite Painter would be more widely used even surpassing Procreate if they had a better GUI graphical user interface. The icons are basic & boring to look at but they are amazingly simple and powerful tools.
Am I the only one who thinks Joel sounds a bit like Russel Brand?
lets be real here this app is way better then Procreate atleast for me it is :D i would wish that Infinite studio would finally update their "infinite design" app
Does it use Procreate or Photoshop brushes?
Currently it does not. You can download extra brushes from the community or online 😀
@@joeldesigns do we really need that much of a brush collection for photomanipulation work?
Kaleidoscope is the best tool
procreate is the best super friendly user , this one is complicated for me .
Procreate lacks a fill brush tool…which Infinite Painter has. So you can drop colors instantly by simply creating a shape and the brush will fill the shape with color. The big weakness in Infinite Painter is it lacks a floating color palette like Procreate. To get around this problem you have to use color dots by color picking areas you want to use for color and painting small dots on the canvas to use to reuse.
Painter just released a beta feature called a color strip which supposedly allows you to reuse the most recent colors by clicking on the strip to drop that color in. But this still doesn’t address the color palette issue which the devs will have to address.
Turns out that both have those features. In Procreate the ‘full’ tool is just a drag and drop of the colour into the shape/area 😀 and painter allows you to pin the palette to the side of the screen too 😀
@@joeldesigns That strip can hold about 13 colors only and even then it’s a stop gap measure. The Painter devs have to implement a floating color palette. I’m going to try and contact them soon about this issue.
sadly you cant import Photoshop OR ProCreate brushes into Infinite Painter... cuz infinite painter is using a differernt brush engine.... any solution there?
procreate unable to fill color referring to multiple layers or folders; 💀☠
Is this your first channel?
@@joeldesigns Oh, I was wondering why you seemed so comfortable in front of the camera, but then it makes sense. You should link the channels together so people can find either one on either channel.😊
Is Infinite Painter related to Corel's Painter?
I hate everything Apple and so Procreate is a no go for me...
IP is probably the most underrated digital painting app, so I appreciate all of your awareness-driving content 👍 In my humble opinion, Procreate has precisely one advantage, which is its vast community, meaning more brushes, tutorials, videos, and to some that might make all the difference, but in every other regard IP is the superior tool.
