OKOP okay op okay storytime ok storytime
5mins in, and just had to comment, this stepdad is weird af! He seems like a clingy bf, itâs giving me the ick.
I made it 1 minute in and the Dad is crazy. His step daughter attending a out of country trip with his ex for their daughters bday is crazy. It would only make sense if the daughter wanted her there and the dad paid for here.
Same he's being weird about bringing his step daughter everywhere. I get that he sees her as his daughter but he's not exhibiting healthy boundaries.
For me its verry weird... i maybe watch to much true crime but it seems even like he have relation whit the kid?
If Sara and Mary already said they were cool not going then Story Alex is being the AH and he deserves to be left behind cause he's just going to ruin the trip if he goes. He's made that pretty clear
Leave dad and take step sisterâĶ that way dad isnât prioritizing step daughter and daughter has a friend to share the experience with.
It's a miracle when step siblings can be allies/friends. Not impossible, mind you, but still a miracle. It's horrible when the adults, bio parents/step parents/ adult siblings/grandparents make it more difficult.
T
I love that the wives now ex, are friends and doing stuff together.
Good gravy! Dad/Stepdad is an utter ðĪĄ
Iâm glad the women he keeps getting into his mess have joined forces.
Yeah obviously, Alex is the problem here. I feel badly for Rose. OP can't really win here either. It's Alex that's creating all this. Mary doesn't even want to go, but her stepdad is forcing it on her. He sounds like a nightmare.
4:05 âI donât want rose to think he doesnât care enough to come at allâ he doesnât. He doesnât care enough. He wouldnât be arguing about this if he did care. He would say you are lucky he is in Roseâs life at all if he cared.
Also, Rose probably ALREADY knows. She is almost 13. She probably knows already just based on the behavior he has exhibited.
I wonder if Mary says âdad I donât want to goâ if he will CHOOSE to stay home with her.
This is classic abuser behavior mixed with this weird dynamic that comes into play for certain men that only get with women for what they can benefit from them.
He was with OP abusing her and cheating on her until she couldnât take it anymore and left him. Her leaving him shouldnât have stopped him from continuing to be in his daughterâs life. But OP says that it was later on that her ex decided to try to get back in his daughterâs lifeâĶinteresting. He paid attention to his daughter until another woman came in the picture who had her own daughter. He now gives that stepdaughter all of the attention that his own biological daughter should be getting as a way of punishment to OP and his biological daughter. He wants to rub it in their faces like a âyou left me and now I have replacements for both of you so Iâm going to show you the treatment that youâre missing because you left meâ. I wouldnât be surprised if when OPâs daughter brings it up to him he would find a way to gaslight her and blame OP for the situation. Also, since some men only deal with women for what they can benefit from them, if they no longer have access to that woman, then they no longer care as much about the child. OPâs ex has a new woman in his life that he has access to so he cares about her child more than his own. Itâs a selfish/ self-centered way of thinking. If he canât get anything out of it, he doesnât see the reason to care.
The one-upping his wifeâs ex-husband also tracks. âYour wife is better off with me. Look at what I do for your daughterâĶmeanwhile I wouldnât even do the same for my biological daughterâ ðĨī
I honestly wouldn't have invited my ex on holiday at all..
I mean heâs being invited as the father of her daughter, not as her ex
@@nainzika yeah I get that, and it's very well intentioned from the mother and daughter. And it would have been so nice if he could be a half decent co parent. The problem is the ex, who with his next few moves shows how not good he really is. I used to invite my ex to outings that I planned for our kids, but he always used it as his opportunity to do and go about things in the whole wrong way.. so I was just saying I'd not have bothered with the invitation due to my own experiences of how exes can be.
Thank you for letting people know with a tigger warning.
The father is trash , don't involve him, if he wanted to have a good relationship with his daughter he would . You can just take a walk and talk with the kid , he's the worst.

I knew you were gonna say he hit her, I've had narcissistic exes.
This whole "issue of concern" about the step daughter is disgusting. This is why single dad's have such a hard time being single dad's. My ex (single dad of 2) couldn't even sleep next to his 10yr old daughter when she was having emotional issues and bad dreams out of fear of it being misconstrued. He let her sleep in his bed and he slept on the couch. His air conditioner had gone out that day and he had put a window unit in the bedrooms until the air could be fixed on Monday.... so he didn't just sleep on the couch, he slept on the couch in the middle of a Midwest summer...90° with 90% humidity in the Middle of the night.....all because of whack jobs who automatically assume the worst of a man.
Which whackjobs were in that house with your ex and daughter?? Y'all are chasing your own shadows over there.
Ok well If the âgood guysâ would hold their bad guy counterparts accountable for their actions and the statistics change for men being inappropriate with children then our feelings about it will also.
@vice8063 Are you ok? The good guys are out there busy being good guys, good dad's, good single dad's, good husbands, and hard workers. They don't have time to sit down with Karen's spreadsheet and decide how to hold some stranger accountable nor is it their responsibility...They're at soccer, ballet, football, teachers conferences, watching movies, scaring monsters.... So here's an...I don't know..... LOGICAL idea .....how about the GIRLFRIENDS, WIVES, FAMILY MEMBERS, AND JUDGES hold the bad apples accountable instead of sweeping it under the rug and implying the good ones are guilty just for being a man.... There's an "idea". ððĪĶðžââïļ
