- This is my entry for the final challenge of SYTYCV Season 3.
I decided to go for a very naturalistic and basic approach to this challenge, editing with a clear focus on emotional intensity. Downton Abbey is one of my favourite television shows and I decided making a tribute to the ensemble would be a great way to end my experience of SoYouThinkYouCanVid. I wanted to focus on certain thematic elements of the television show, such as continuity and change, life and death or love and sadness, within my video and hopefully you can see these reflected in my editing.
To be in the Top 6 out of 400 competitors is more than I ever could have imagined to achieve and I want to wish my peers in this round the best of luck!

You totally portrayed the magnificent of this series, all the love, the sadness, the beauty. You put me in a big trip, full of emotions, and I can "touch" in some way all those feelings that Downton Abbey gave me the last years. You remind me why I loved this series at the first time, and why it will always be one of my favourites shows even when my favourite characters are gone.

So beautiful. I loved the scene selection with the echoing of movements and gestures through out the series to show the characteres' journies. The quote selection was fabulous too, I especially liked the change section. And the end... no words! Lots of luck for SYTYCV!!

I was in between smiling and crying throughout the entire video, because this really portrays every aspect of the show, and in such a beautiful way. You are such a magnificent and talented editor. Wow, this is just stunning! I won't lie, this totally got me teary-eyed towards the end. It is just such a great portrayal of the Downton spirit, and I love how you made the house a main character, which it really is. Beautiful!

i cannot think of words to accurately describe how... amazingly and atagonizingly beautiful this video is. with such a subtle coloring, no fancy effects, no flashy editing - you truly managed to show what an amazing vidder you are.
