He played an absolutely awesome game. I've been following the Eagles since Sonny and Tommy --I even played in my HS band at the Franklin Field games. But the Eagles team this year is displaying a depth of talent I think was unmatched even in the Buddyt Ryan Defenses;' a closer comparison to Fangio's amazing defense schemes would probably be Jim Johnson's "Move to the Ball" philosophy makes the defense just explode on an offense that will make people like Matt Stafford throw their helmet on the ground at the sideline. The RB is just hitting the hole and Becton has already stopped moving his feet. You're never going to see Becton 30 yards downfield leading a convoy. He'll just stop running instead. Perhaps that’s part of the whole transition from LT to RG. He’s probably focusing on what he needs to do on the run block and isn’t fully aware of how far to go. Also, maybe he doesn’t want to go too far forward as there were times the Eagles OL were flagged for ineligible man down field as Hurts decided to keep the ball on the RPO and the OL thought it was a run play going too far forward before the ball was passed.

Everytime i watch the eagles tape i see Jersey grabs, hands around shoulder pads, false starts. Funny how every o lineman that comes to philly from elsewhere magically plays better and the ones that leave are all of the sudden getting called for penalties lol

I wouldn't say 'no NFL line is close' to the Eagles. The Detroit Lions line is pretty scary as are their running backs. Don't get TOO overconfident; that's what happened last year. As we said back in my day: "Act like you been there". Bragging and overconfidence kills many a good team in any sport.
