Hi sir, Becoming Expertise in oneskill insurance sales with MBA or different field in, 2 or 3skills with help in corporate job grow Pls make an video, sir
hey Saurabh i hope you see this comment . i am currently in a sales profile i have some gap years and i want to pursue career in marketing but i am clearly confused as to where do i start to learn and implement things in marketing , if you could advice on the same it would be very helpful
Why do you have gap years? Marketing is tough to get into. But you can start by doing free online courses from Hubspot, Google and SEM Rush. Don't go for paid courses until you finish these three. Then, depending on what you like, graduate to Udemy courses that cost Rs. 500-1000.
@polkebol i had some family issues that caused some Gap years after graduation ....i would begin the courses you mentioned..... also would an mba from tier 2-3 college may help me land marketing roles or is it skills that i should focus on entirely which will help me instead of an mba .
@@polkebol also would like to thank you that because of your video on B2B Marketing i am quite intrigued and want to work in these area....i would focus on skill development entirely
Have my interviews in 1.5 months. I have calls from good college. Have gap years because of upsc. Also i have experience regarding my family business. I have no real life corporate skills. No work ex. Whats your take ? Where to get skills from ? Also please tell me how to get an internship to learn ?
You want skills in 1.5 months? Forget about it. Revise what you know. How to get an internship? Google and find out websites that offer them. I did them from Internshala in my time. Don't underestimate your family business experience. That's better than coding and testing for 18 months in an IT firm.
Bro, I'm working with my family business and am able to earn around 20-30 LPA. Should I go for an MBA now? I'm currently 25, and seeing people doing it at 20-21 years of age makes me think: have I missed something? Btw Thanks for the amazing content ❤❤
Hey, Saurabh! I want to get into HR. I am looking to get some internships. Do you think one can make it far without an MBA in HR? If I do get admission in a good college like TISS, DSE, UBS etc, do you think it would be worth the 2 year education or I'm better off working for those two years? I'm 27. I look forward to your response. Thank you!!!
@@daisy_11.11 in india if you are serious about HR , do it from top 5 or don't do it , xl, TISS, mdi , SIBM p , SCMHRD - these are top 5 , even IIM Indore HR is not great, it'll take you at least 10 years to cope up with XL kids , HR had very few jobs and very opportunities in india, As HR is neiche job
Opinion not advice: I'd recommend an HR for a long and fruitful career in HR. The colleges you mentioned, I only know TISS, which is one of the best in HR in India. MBA is a long term degree, not a short term fix.
sir i am thinking to take skills courses like financial modelling , equity reserach , python for finance and machine leraning rather than going for mba. thanks for sharing this i dont want to give hefty fee or time to give mba right now , probably i will go for mba in future but right now i am dropping this plan, thanks this is a eye opener video
saurabh mate , why you didn't go for mica ahmedabad , why jbims for marketing ? is it bombay?? for a reason bcz you don't wanna leave bcz as per my knowledge mica is best in the country for marketing sales and advertisement
I should have gone to MICA. I was under the impression it was advertising focused. But I am very happy I went to JBIMS. Learnt a lot and would have been in a better position in my career right now if it weren't for some shocking bad luck. Overall, MICA is the best for Marketing in India I'd say.
@@polkebolplease Mr. Pol, can you back this claim of yours that MICA is the best in the country for marketing? Like from your personal experiences.. and not what you read or heard about it

Usually tier 2-3 colleges give only sales roles. Marketing is rarely offered. I mentioned the same in my video.

I was planning to go with SIES pgdm in marketing. Should I go?
Can't answer very specific questions.
Bhai yaarr saurab don't say this
I want to go for an MBA and watching your videos just before going for IIM interviews
Double thoughts aajayega !!😂😂😂
Focus on your interview prep. All the best.

Mica is a heavily marketed Advertisement school. People confuse it as a marketing school but it is not. JB is surely a better choice.
